Are those possibly made up photos of Binton or would he have borrowed a dress from the designer? There must be a more logical explanation surely?

Is there a prize for Deluded Post of the Year? If so, we have winner.

Blister · 23/02/2023 07:36

You can't blame me for thinking no one would wear stolen goods in public, to grand events! Multiple events...

bellinisurge · 23/02/2023 07:51

He no doubt got off on on displaying his stolen gear. White House needs to explain how this sick bastard got into such a position of authority, presumably with security clearance. And it never got picked up.

suggestionsplease1 · 23/02/2023 07:53

The analogy with hostile focus on a characteristic of a group eg, sexuality, gender identity, paired with behavioural expectations of that minority group is accurate.

This board often makes our they are the adults in the room, the older generation who knows better...but don't you remember what happened in the 80s when to be a lesbian was to be considered an especial risk to children? And yes there were indeed some lesbian abuse stories. Just as there are stories about criminality of trans people, and of course every other demographic out there.

What short memories you must have!

Happylittlechicken · 23/02/2023 07:54

@suggestionsplease1 huh? Are you saying we should not mention this bloke who steals womens clothes and gets off on wearing them in public cos he claims he’s a special person with a gender identity? I thought you wanted equality for transpeople?

ChaToilLeam · 23/02/2023 07:56

Brinton is creepier than ever. I hope they throw the bloody book at him.

I am saying the hostile obsession promotes a culture of hostility to all trans people. Just as it did with lesbians in the 80s.

Maybe it's time for a reality check if that's what you truly believe?

The hostile obsessions with males invading women's spaces is what is promoting a culture of hostility. If there was clear acceptance of sex based rights then trans people become accepted as others with similar old fashioned views about gender roles are. The problem is being caused by male supremacist trans rights activists. Most people don't care how people 'present themselves' so long as they don't try and coerce others to take part in their fetishes or invade spaces they're not entitled to access.

I grew up in the 80s and this is nonsense. The section 28 era was driven by hostility and prejudice about gay men - not lesbian women.

Besides, cross-dressing and desiring to be seen as the opposite sex in specific situations (which is what Brinton is doing) is not a group 'characteristic' like sexual orientation or race - it is a behaviour. And it is a behaviour strongly associated with sex offending.

There seems be an obsession with makes in this, when actually surveys consistently show greater support for trans rights amongst women.

It's a special kind of misogyny that considers all these women as 'handmaidens' who are clearly influenced by men. As if we all can't make our own minds up on the issues FFS 🙄

Oh hello suggestions!

Speaking of short memories.

Great to see you. We looked though the studies you posted on the other thread, and none of them were the evidence you told us they were.

Why should anyone believe your comments here on this thread? You do seem to post things you don’t seem to be able to support at all.

Yet you want us to believe that posting about a male who has been charged for stealing people’s clothes is hostile?

care to engage with the topic rather than just trying to deflect the interaction with accusations of hostility? And more Whataboutery ?

Females can be male supremacists and have dodgy morals which they chose as freely as anyone else. Not sure what your point is?

Happylittlechicken · 23/02/2023 08:09

So if you call this hostility @suggestionsplease1 , What do you call the rape threats and death threats from the gender ideologists? Rational debate?

Yet while you like to push that point, you miss the part where the majority don’t agree with male with penises being in female only spaces. Or sport.

See, while you are distracting others with that lovely overall statistic… it falls apart within seconds when that sentiment is tested.

But you know this and still post this point.

Oh hello! I am still waiting for a logical and coherent defence of binary sex thank you very much.

This was very evidently not forthcoming in the last thread.

Of course the binary view of sex is the most simple explanation of sex in comparison to the other ones that the proposed which involve more complexity, so the onus is on those who promote it to define and defend it.

This has not been done, accurate parameters were not given, which was clearly suggest that sex is more complicated than being binary.

Not as much as you obviously do @suggestionsplease1 . Why are women not allowed to talk about men who commit crimes against us? Or are we only allowed to talk about male crime if the male does not have a gender identity?

'The terms sex and gender should not be used interchangeably. Sex is dichotomous, with sex determination in the fertilized zygote stemming from unequal expression of sex chromosomal genes.'

Oh you’re THAT @suggestionsplease1 ! I remember that thread. The one where the links did not say what you asserted so you wandered off…. Did you ever find out what the third sex Was called, what gamete it produces and what role it plays in reproduction?

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 08:15

Endocrine Society spells it out very clearly there.

'Sex is dichotomous'.

'Dichotomous' means 'comes in two groups'.

Chersfrozenface · 23/02/2023 08:15

Sex is not binary, @suggestionsplease1 ?

Human beings, homo sapiens, are mammals and like all mammals their sex is binary.

suggestionsplease1 · 23/02/2023 08:15

Would you accept others talking about Posie Parker as guilty and convicted of a hate crime? Or might you perhaps say, wait a minute this is an accusation, and there is no conviction?

Sam Brinton has been accused but has not been convicted have they? And yet the chat unfolds as if it has.

The double standards eh?

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 08:17

This is gish galloping pigeon chess.

Demand someone refute an absurd suggestion.

When clear evidence is provided, switch and pivot! Another absurd assertion! Demand we disprove it!
