I stayed up to watch live and was shocked at how fast the aggressive male forced his way to the mic and ripped it from the speaker's hands, shoving her back roughly. The security quickly overpowered him and removed him. The mic was broken and a new one quickly found and the brave woman resumed her narrative.
Earlier, at the beginning of the event there was a stramash which wasn't filmed but I later saw a clip on twitter and it was a woman wearing an orange patterned dress suddenly screaming, crouching and "giving birth" to something baby blue and baby pink and another women thrusting though her legs to "be born". Bizarre. A woman tweeted that she had chatted with this woman before the start and she had been friendly and pleasant. The poster was upset and betrayed after this incident

I am confused that the police permitted the black clad and masked males (very much like our own resident Black Pampers) to remain nearby the women on the steps. They were clearly nothing to do with the women talking. Furthermore, why did they eventually lead these men (doing nazi salutes ) right past the TRAs? That seemed incendiary. However, interestingly, the TRAs ignored them and continued to scream and harangue the women. What on earth was that about?
On twitter the TRA sympathisers are accusing KJK of being a nazi (yawn) because these men were nearby on the steps. Ridiculous, of course, as this is a public area where any citizen can congregate. They are getting increasingly desperate to shut her (and all women) up. We will not be silenced.
