I don't think it should change either. The chat section isn't really used which shows that this is the board people want to use. The fact it continues to be sought out by people to have a whinge hasn't changed. But that's life. And debating is fine.

Feminism is separate from GC. They’re both political movements, but they are not one and the same. Nor is GC a type of feminism imho.

Ive never said GC has nothing to do with womens rights just that it’s separate from feminism. The aligning with the right shows it is very political in nature.

But as with all this there’s a tussle over meaning and words and as a GC feminist (or reality based feminism as someone called it the other day) it is integral to my thinking and who I am as a woman.

I thought at the time that was incredibly disingenuous / a lie, because I read threads here all the time and knew that "shouted down" just meant "disagreed with in a way I couldn't think of a response to".

Sure, we all get a say. I’m happy with majority view. I do think it odd though that MN has no politics talk topic at all. Especially since we do often discuss the actions of our Government and various political parties, movements and activists.
