talked about changing legal gender, surely it’s legal sex?
The idea that it’s so easy to change your legal sex, which relates to something biological, seems more powerful and meaningful than the idea of changing your gender, which is some wishy-washy made up sexist claptrap about wearing dresses and mascara.

I can't read about that case or talk about it at the moment, I'm sorry, it's too much. I can't actually understand how something so dark can happen in the world. I can't understand how anyone can deal with it and I feel very much for the police and court members who do so. And journalists.

Sorry to ask but if the legislation is passed what happens next. I’m assuming that laws don’t come into play immediately but don’t know enough about it.

I finally have a reply from my SNP MSP - sent snail mail so I have no idea which of the last four emails it's in response to & it's just improve the process for trans and non-binary blah blah will vote for it. That man sat opposite me & agreed self ID would legalise indecent exposure & worse.

We should be talking about the political advantages of bringing in this law in terms of winning over younger voters. This is the huge social justice issue for the younger generation. And Sturgeon lowered the voting age to 16 for the independence referendum, which will also be the voting age for the next one. This bill will be a big win for the SNP among that age group.

For however long 16-20somethings are on board with gender identity ideology, yes. But what happens if that age group get completely sick of gender everything all of the time and look around at their peers and realise that the gender-obsessed ones are the ones best avoided?
