This could be interesting! She’s saying she’s going to stand to force him to talk about the issue.

Someone should stand in Brighton. It's led the way in woke, wouldn't surprise me at all if it was leading the way in disillusionment.

Whether people think it’s a good idea or not, the fact is we are currently on a fast-paced trajectory to losing all of our sex-based rights. Scotland is almost there. If anyone’s got any better ideas, please step forward.

Nothing seems to be stopping this. I’d even argue that the wins we are seeing are increasing the ferocity, pace and determination of self ID lobbyists. Groups can quietly and politely lobby the left (I know the tories did so much damage - but we are currently looking at a future Labour gov), - but current action is not having the desired impact at the pace we need it. When I was handing out leaflets at Primark - many were still unaware of what is going on, they were outraged when they knew. We need everyone to know, we need many more to be outraged. I think we are now on notice - two years. If current predictions are right, Labour will win the next GE, if we can’t get them to talk about/realise the implications for women’s safety within that time frame, I think much is lost. Imagine if we are sat here in 2 years time wondering why none of us took the opportunity of a GE to make our voices heard. Good on KJK for taking the opportunity.

Yes. It's too late for us in Scotland. Let that be a salutary lesson. Self ID shoved through despite warnings from the UN, from women, from the EHRC.

The bods at the top that we hope would put the brakes on won't or can't.

Those who earn their living in the organisations set up to supposedly fight for women's rights are captured or too scared to speak up.

These decisions on laws that affect everyone have been made on the basis of the votes of two or three people.

It's up to everyday women to save their rights - I'm afraid nobody else will do it for you.

TheKeatingFive · 06/12/2022 08:58

Woah, he'll hate that 😆

Floisme · 06/12/2022 09:17

I'm not sure I entirely agree it's win-win. We all know KJK shoots from the hip and that sometimes she misfires. I think this is risky, but then so are a lot of the things she does. In fact every time I see a new thread with her name in it my heart's in my mouth, but then I ask myself what I've done for the last 5 years beyond carping about the Labour Party. Most people underestimate KJK at the first encounter - including me - and I think taking the fight to the person who sets the rules, but won't spell out what they are, is absolutely right (if risky).

It will be interesting to see how Starmer reacts. I think that, if he tries to dismiss her as another Mr Buckethead, then she'll wipe the floor with him.

MarshaBradyo · 06/12/2022 09:19

I don’t see too much of a downside

She already gets headlines and will get more and it’ll be a good hook / face to put to the issue

I also applaud her bravery standing personally on this

KJK - if you need financial help with this please set up a fundraiser.
I'm sure you'll get great support!

Beowulfa · 06/12/2022 09:44

It's Count Binface, not Lord Buckethead, and you can read his manifesto here: www.countbinface.com/london-2021-manifesto I found several points quite pertinent.

Starmer is going to have to get his story straight now. What a disappointment he's been.

Omg KJK is such a trouble maker!
This has made my morning.

Signalbox · 06/12/2022 10:10

Does anyone know who is interviewing her? Or have a link to the full interview?

Actually no worries, I've found it...

It's too late for us in Scotland.

It's never too late, because it doesn't matter how many laws they pass, men still won't be women.

Reality will out in the end, it's just a matter of how much damage is caused on the way.

maltravers · 06/12/2022 10:48

Keir Starmer will have to inform himself properly on the nuances of the women’s rights/trans demands clash or look idiotic in debate with her. Then he can’t claim he didn’t know the details. Genius move from that perspective.

BoreOfWhabylon · 06/12/2022 13:18

He won't debate with her, any more than he would with Count Binface, but that doesn't matter; she'll ensure national coverage of the issues.

She knows that, and that's why she'll do it Xmas Grin

Consufed · 06/12/2022 13:25

Brilliant! Xmas Grin

vixenred · 06/12/2022 13:28

I didn't like her either 2 or 3 years ago, but then I found this rabbit hole, fell down it and now I watch every one of her videos. I heard Julie Bindell doesn't like her at all which is a great shame if true. I'm attending a Sex Matters webinar this evening, very excited. 😎

Abhannmor · 06/12/2022 14:13

Someone should stand against Lammy too.

MarshaBradyo · 07/12/2022 09:51

First time I’ve watched her.

She is a powerhouse. Brilliant

teawamutu · 07/12/2022 10:12

She's so infectious. Love it.

Beware of looking at any of their other 'material', Carl Benjamin is a peadophile apologist who also sent a tweet to Jess Phillips saying “I wouldn’t even rape you.”

Datun · 06/12/2022 00:31

To those who are sceptical, the thing is, she won't have to do anything. All that has to happen is the Tory media get wind of it. Which they will, cos she'll tell them.

If he engages, he's going to look like a twat without a coherent argument. And if he ignores her, that will become the story. Again.

It's win/win.

No danger of me watching anything else. I didn’t even make it through the whole podcast 😂

Datun · 07/12/2022 18:11

It's perfect, isn't it!

If she's running against Starmer, she can advertise politically, which means she can bring the billboards back.

And there's fuck all anyone can do about it. You could probably hear the crowing from space.
