When did this board become a "safe space"?

I've recently seen this board as being described as a "space space"? This has happened a few

Wikipedia says The term safe space refers to places "intended to be free of bias, conflict, criticism, or potentially threatening actions, ideas, or conversations".

Well, going by that, it's hardly a safe space, is it? We have robust discussions here that are rarely seen on other parts of the internet.

I don't know, I feel cross and disheartened to hear the term "safe space" being ascribed to this board as if we're too fragile to cope. Ugh.

Instead I would describe this board as broadly supportive, wouldn't you?

Haha! Much as I love the vote of confidence, I couldn't possibly deprive you all of your question asking. 😁 I mean, it just wouldn't be fair!

I'm too impatient so I can't do it.

We'd have to have a separate thread where we listed all the questions for Datun to ask. But we'd need to make sure the recipient of the questions didn't answer any of them on there, because then there'd be no point in having the other thread. This could get complicated.

In fact we could call it the Scots Government Approach.

Women will be allowed to ask questions, very politely, in a very small amount (to be determined for them) however on a separate thread and not in any way permitted to actually engage with anyone or do anything in order to fight back against the stripping of their rights. Because women resisting men stripping of their rights are just being plain mean and nasty.

I said it as a response to people like MyLittleSandwich who was saying she was finding it hard to answer so many questions (and who has ADHD).

I'm not talking about the goady ones.
