Standing for women - Portland rally cancelled over violent threats

Not quite sure what's happened - seems there were credible threats to women's lives over these protests.

So, I watched the vid on Youtube, and, curiously, the TRAs that were really aggressive in their behaviour, spitting, brandoshing mace, sprinting towards people, the really confrontative ones - they were clearly dudes. Ok, one covered his penis with a short skirt, but the fact remains…

Imagine being an adult and pepper spraying a teenage girl in the face because she tried and failed to spit at you.

This is NOT a teenage girl and he's not even pretending to be. He towers over the woman and has two other older men with him.

I'd worry about any adult who thinks that using pepper spray directly in the face of a teenage girl is a proportionate response to them trying (and failing) to spit on you.

"She" only failed in spitting at Jeanna because Jeanna blocked the spit with her sign.

Spitting is classed as assault in the UK.

Purgatory they DO grow them big in the US, though. Remember Stefonknee Wolscht? She looked like a grown man and was only six. Had already fathered children, too! So who are er to say that those TRAs on the vid aren‘t all sweet little baby girls…

The sentencing guidelines on it were strengthened here after the pandemic began (I can't remember when exactly) because of the potential for disease transmission.

And before anyone says that Covid is irrelevant, spitter's pal wears a mask outside, doesn't he?

So, we have now seen quite a few students spitting at women. That one that sprayed pepper spray at the student who she protected herself from spit from, reacted to the fact that student didn’t like the sign put up to stop the spit and pulled it down at force and looked to me like they were about to react physically.

Was this what you are trying to highlight livvyposts? The spitting and the intimidation right up close and the spraying of pepper spray in a situation where a student looked about to lash out physically.

I don't know where this 14 year old girl thing has come from? Perhaps mroe footage will emerge,but I haven't seen anything remotely like a teenage girl being assaulted so far (and needless to say I hope I don't!).

Jane Egerton isn't exactly an unbiased source when it comes to KJK,WOLF, whatever, I would say. Nor is Cathy Brennan.

Purgator it does make sense, though. The reason that human bites are considered so dangerous are related to transmission.
Obviously, spitting is less dangerous, because no open wound is created, where the spit goes, but the risk of open lesions isn‘t nil. And for some diseases (e. g. tuberculosis, Covid…) it doesn‘t even take an open wound.
Personally, if I had to choose, I‘d prefer being maced.

While this guy (who is on camera holding what seems to be a can of spray himself!) moves in to attack Jeanna too.

Also, even though I won‘t discount that testosterone can make people more aggressive, I very much doubt the large, spitting person with this girlish haircut is a transboy. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck…

For all we know they might identify as a toddler-girl named Sweety. And the mace in their hand might just Self-identify as her tea-cup…

The pepper sprayer is quite adament it was a trans boy/non binary person she assaulted though she refers to them as she (see attached). We don't know how old they are but the counter protesters have been repeatedly referred to as children by the Standing For Women demonstrators.

There is an additional 14 year old teenage girl who claims she was pepper-sprayed and racially abused by Standing For Women activists, I posted a screenshot upthread. There is also a woman on facebook claiming her child (son) was pepper sprayed as he walked to his next class (attached screenshot).

Media reports say five people were treated for pepper spray. That's what we know so far regarding allegations of the use of pepper spray at this event.

Yes. I did notice that in the video. And I had seen footage of them carrying a can too.

If that person who claims to have reported it to the police does, I am going to be very interested if it turns out to have been drift from
that masked person or drift from spraying the spitter or what.

Best sorted by the courts. Seems to be a whole lot of footage.

And what a surprise, it seems clearly to be of those protesting the event being intimidating, and violent towards the women. . (Sarcasm if it needs to be said!)

Indeed, having it sorted out by the courts will be the best path. Luckily there is video evidence about who was on the offensive and who acted in self-defense…

There is another video from the students, entitled "when we got sprayed". They don't actually get sprayed on camera, but they have submitted evidence of themselves chasing retreating SFW women while swearing and shouting at the women repeatedly. The middle aged man who was spotted with a can of spray is in the group.

One witness says he sprayed and the students around him were caught in it.

But I thought all the TRA protesters were young unarmed children @livvyposts so far we’ve seen no children but a shit ton of large armed men.

Yes. This person sprayed the woman after she blocked the person spitting and sprayed that spitter who looked to be about to
become violent.
