No one has a problem with shows about vulvas and vaginas - the headline is wrong.
This is not just a ‘show’.
She actively engages with providing communication about female anatomy and health issues and how those can be fixed.
Something many females will not know about or are uncomfortable discussing.
Didn’t I see that Ives was a line in their promotion ‘And how long can Jen get away with taking maternity leave from work?’ ? Like that is centring females and their needs. Do you know how many of us have been terminated from our jobs while pregnant or on maternity leave?
And Ives uses this as a throw away line for comedy?
The issue is that she is gender critical / transphobic.
You have really shown your deep and abiding prejudice here. I mean, regular readers already know this about your posts.
So being gender critical is transphobic, eh? And deserving of abuse and loss of livelihood.
I notice you’ve kept quiet about Jen Ives, also at Edinburgh who received transphobic abuse, and bunch of transphobes booked out the front row and sat in silence with their arms crossed.
What transphobic abuse has Ives received? Please link it up.
Or are you talking about the time Ives, a transitioned male complained of transphobic abuse because a neurodiverse young man noticed and was upset that Ives used the female single sex toilet at an event where it was clearly noted that toilets were for single sex use only?
And Ives used the toilets to make a fuss, intimidate females using the toilet and deliver headlines?
So, link up the evidence that this was an organised protest by feminists please.
And if it is not feminists, why is it relevant to us? Why should we be derailing a thread to discuss a transitioned male comedian who may not even be funny? Because dadjoke told us to?
yeah. Hilarious.
