Twitter moderation is pretty biased. It's almost impossible to get misogyny complaints seen to, with the possible exception of direct death threats. Everything else 'doesn't violate" their rules. But it's fairly easy to get a gender critical tweeter banned by astroturfed mass complaints.

I saw one tweeter given a temporary ban for showing the front page of an academic article with biological content about gender dysphoria. There was nothing that could be construed as hate in that article, but one scientific jargony term that seems to have been misunderstood both by the complainers and the moderators.

I believe much of the bias is intended (i.e., women are not seen as a protected group at all), some is because many people reporting someone simultaneously is interpreted as a grass root reaction, not as a manufactured astroturf reaction.

The Guardian is a cesspit of transphobia. Look at the Kids Wordsearch from yesterday if you don't believe me.

Trans activists do have a habit of saying some appalling racist things though. Often along the lines of “if black women are a subset of women why aren’t transwomen”, as though black women aren’t “proper” women.

It's not really.

I mean we've had:
White TRAs in black paramilitary outfits = crickets so assume not racist
White GC activist wearing a black gimp suit and nappy to take piss out of former = definitely awful racist
White Australian TRA making a horrifically racist statement = also crickets. They have 23k followers. Most of them transwomen. I've seen two calling out that absolutely vile racist tweet.
