The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

I’ve been thinking that. Can you imagine having an argument.

“I put it to you…”

Honestly it's making me think that DH should have been a barrister. Loves to argue, great at arguing, will happily argue the opposite side to whatever he believes just for fun. Highly competitive, likes to win. Very good memory so brings up inconvenient facts at opportune moments.

I think he'd be really good at it. To think we could have been living a life of luxury if he'd done so!

tabbycatstripy · 13/05/2022 12:49

So the marketing team just do what they want? Doubtful.

Clymene · 13/05/2022 12:49

Oh so it's the marketing team gone rogue Hmm

nauticant · 13/05/2022 12:50

LT suggesting that tweets to the GCC twitter account (one of many) might go nowhere.

It's interesting that sometimes, when the subject is of interest to GCC, the tweets are very definitely picked up.

tabbycatstripy · 13/05/2022 12:51

Yes, that’s not credible. If their own Twitter can’t be taken to demonstrate their corporate position, how can AB’s be associated with one?

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 12:52

He knows nothing about Twitter. This is just factually incorrect.

ickky · 13/05/2022 12:53

LT has a customisable twitter account? Is this a new Musk feature?

He seems utterly outraged that he's here at all.

nauticant · 13/05/2022 12:55

One positive about LT is that he will engage with the question and be forthcoming with an answer that is an answer to what was asked. IIRC, this is a massive contrast to Mr Lue.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 12:55

Can I make a point of order?

Every time Allison raised her voice, AH used it to patronise her for getting angry.

I don't think BC has done that to LT once.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/05/2022 12:56

I must say that this hearing and Maya's has made me think more carefully about emailing things at work.

Me too. Also don't slag off your colleagues on WhatsApp, slack etc, as it could form part of a legal disclosure if there is a discrimination claim!

He seems utterly outraged that he's here at all.

He does, doesn't he? Quite telling.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 12:58

Ok so this is quite interesting. So he was unaware of other issues but people appeared to be aware of Allison's?

Clymene · 13/05/2022 12:58

Scrolling through Mr Thomas's followed accounts, I see that he follows the fox murderer and the Good Law Project.

No surprise there

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 13/05/2022 12:58

Gosh. Listening in really gives a different dimension doesn't it? His tone of voice is quite defensive.

dworky · 13/05/2022 12:59

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 13/05/2022 12:54

He seems utterly outraged that he's here at all.

As if he has no understanding of how court questioning works!

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 13:00

This shows how brilliantly Allison handled cross examination.

AppleandRhubarbTart · 13/05/2022 13:01

There's a lot Mr Thomas doesn't know.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 13/05/2022 13:01

Is it important that MB was part of the Crime team, or the Immigration team?? 🤨

Or when her call was??

Clymene · 13/05/2022 13:01

Only 200 people in chambers and he didn't know what they did? Bollocks.

Pyjamagame · 13/05/2022 13:02

Me thinks the laddie doth protest too much.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 13/05/2022 13:02

WTF is going on here - I can understand why someone would be afraid to agree with anything a barrister suggests in cross-examination but he just looks ridiculous reflexively disagreeing with everything, including the suggestion that his now-a-judge colleague was "respected and influential."

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 13/05/2022 13:03

This shows how brilliantly Allison handled cross examination.

It really does. (Although I also wonder if female socialisation is a protective factor against this particular brand of petulant indignation that someone else is not automatically going to believe what you say.)

AppleandRhubarbTart · 13/05/2022 13:03

Hmm, serious issue requiring a case management conference according to IO?

nauticant · 13/05/2022 13:04

A closed case management hearing at 13.50 to discuss a "very serious matter" that's come to light.

Public hearing at 14.00.
