The Tribunal will start on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

I have sent a request but haven't had anything back yet. Hopefully nearer the time.

It is just awful. Fucking arseholes.

FannyCann · 30/04/2022 08:28

From that roll on Friday article. I think I can safely say she speaks for all of us. StarGin

"A woman at Gowling WLG said the firm should "sack off" the controversial charity, while a solicitor at Womble Bond Dickinson rued her firm’s reliance on the pressure group. "Not a day goes by where we are not exhorted to celebrate the next Stonewall-sponsored edict”, she said: “I suspect most staff would just prefer a decent pay rise and some extra colleagues to carry the work burden"."

FannyCann I agree. It certainly sums up how fed up people are at having these things forced down their throats at work and knowing if they object the consequences are very dire. Shades of 1984 and North Korea or even Russia in terms of wanting everyone at work to have the same views on all topics including who is a woman etc.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 30/04/2022 07:33

The ridiculous thing about that cross examination is that if either of those organisations had collected and kept data on sexual orientation at events they would presumably have been breaking the law. Sexual orientation is special category data and has additional protections under GDPR.

Bloody good point.

Was Wispa supposed to be some reference to Wi Spa, too?

I would not be surprised if there was a faux transphobic username next time, the equivalent of the goady threads that sometimes get started here.

Yes the Wispa was because of the Wi Spa incident and the lemon is a reference to film The Fortune Cookie where Jack Lemmon plays a lawyer.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 30/04/2022 09:08

It's not just cruel - surely it's not that far from witness intimidation as presumably AB could see this.

AlisonDonut · 30/04/2022 09:17

So they are trying to intimidate her in her own tribunal.

Of course they are, why would I expect anything else?

Such a bunch of - well there are no words are there?

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 30/04/2022 09:17

the lemon is a reference to film The Fortune Cookie where Jack Lemmon plays a lawyer.

I've no idea what the reference was but I doubt many people would have contrived that reference because Lemmon played Harry Hinkle and Walter Matthau was the lawyer.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 30/04/2022 09:19

I mean the judge did pick it up as "harassment" so she's on it. Can you be in contempt of court in an employment tribunal? The person muttering FFS was also over that line.

SpindleInTheWind · 30/04/2022 09:24

Yeah, I’m not really getting the lemon/Lemmon ref either. And why draw attention to Wi Spa? The bloke who exposed himself was a sex offender wasn’t he?

Great film.

Allison said that lemon was a derogatory term for lesbian.

NecessaryScene · 30/04/2022 09:30

Yes the Wispa was because of the Wi Spa incident

Not quite - at some point Allison found a Wispa in her back garden and was worried that it was a deliberate attempt to poison her dog (and a possible Wi Spa reference - it was soon after that) - and tweeted about it.

But it turned out to have an innocent explanation - something to do with the neighbours' kids.

But it's something to taunt her about - "Remember that time you were so paranoid about how much we hate you? Lol!"

SpindleInTheWind · 30/04/2022 09:51

Bloody hell, how nastily immature are these people? Well I think I know actually. More signs of inadequacy and arrested development.

He is alleged to have exposed himself to women and girls in the spa. (has he been convicted of that offence, or is it still an allegation) I would think that would have been a sexual offence in itself, irrespective of any previous sexual offences.

I think the difficult thing to understand is when people were trying to say he was not committing a sexual offence, if as alleged, he exposed himself to women and girls in the spa.

Nic Williams has a panoramic photo of the meeting in London where Sharron Davis was speaking. It shows hundreds of women. Row after row after row. Hardly any men.

Yes, because I was there I literally recognise myself in that space (helped out by the fact I know where I was sitting).

Daley Thompson has the physical presence of several people but he was among a comparative handful of men present.

It's been the same for every event I've attended.

Would AH look at a photograph of a football crowd and deny he has a reasonable sense of which sex the overwhelming majority is?

jammykim · 30/04/2022 11:07

Did the police get involved when they tried to poison Allison's dog? These men are warped.

They did what?

Shock

SERIOUSLY? They tried to kill her pet to punish her? To harm an animal who had nothing whatever to do with it? Someone did something that vicious and evil in the name of this politics?

Please tell me I'm misunderstanding.

Artichokeleaves · 30/04/2022 11:16

I just saw Necessary's post which I'd missed, so hoping very much it WAS an innocent explanation.

Terven73 · 30/04/2022 11:29

so hoping very much it WAS an innocent explanation.

It's widely belived that TRA's bribed the children when Allison's tweet blew up as they were worried about legal repercussions.

Yes, the TRAs took the piss a lot at the time. Funnily enough most of them haven't talked about it much recently, even with Allison being so prominent at the moment. I'm guessing that this is because they don't want to draw attention to it lest someone look into it and realise that the 'transwoman' at the WiSpa in LA turned out to be a big fat SEX OFFENDER!

Lynnthesearesexnotgenderpeople · 30/04/2022 11:47

TRAs are going in hard with the 'most GC feminists are men' at the moment. Is this because Allison is arguing that she was discriminated against on the basis of sex? Sorry, I don't know the details of all this?

I mean it's clearly bullshit. FPFW may not have collected the sex data of their donators, but at all meetings of all groups on this issue, the activists are overwhelmingly female, you just have to use your eyes! And there is also the slightly inconvenient fact that the biggest radicalisation portal out there, where the most evil of all the witches hang out is not Piston Heads, Single Track, or even Reddit, it's........Mumsnet! Hardly a hive of testosterone is it?

It's funny, when they want to call us 'saggy titted' or 'dried up' or want to send rape threats or make effigies of someone being hanged, it's clear that they think most TERFs are women. But as soon as it suits their agenda? Oh no, suddenly most of them are blokes.

And the YouGov survey is so obvious - yes you can use woolly vague questions to skew the stats, but as soon as any clarification is given (ie. That we are not talking about people who have had SRS), then the results are a lot more clear.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 30/04/2022 11:59

AB makes direct and indirect claims of discrimination that she lays out on her site.

my claim as direct discrimination on the basis of my gender critical beliefs, as well as the existing grounds of indirect discrimination and victimisation

I think sex and sexual orientation are factors in her claim for indirect discrimination.

It will help us enormously when SW gets its act together so both the tribunal and us (the public) have access to the evidence bundle and we can see everything laid out.

Lynnthesearesexnotgenderpeople · 30/04/2022 12:04

Thank you for that info.

I don't think that's strictly true, many men are brought into the GC movement from the manosphere by people such as Joe Rogan, Sargon Of Akkad, Matt Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson etc - they have an incredible reach and influence.
