The Tribunal will start on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

I have sent a request but haven't had anything back yet. Hopefully nearer the time.

claiming she called Morgan Page a man, when she said male bodied

Hang on, so Stonewall are happy to claim that "male-bodied" and "man" are interchangeable?

Either they think it is, and they are transphobes, or they don't think it is, and they are liars.

The entire ideology is a veritable forest of contradictions. Every where you turn there's another one.

I just hope Ben gets the opportunity to ask whether they support lesbians, and if so, can that be a married man with six children. And if that is so, who constitutes their dating pool?

InvisibleDragon · 29/04/2022 17:46

Am I too late to put in an order for a magic rabbit? Cos I'd rather like one that identifies as a unicorn and poops rainbow sparkles.

Only if it's not too much trouble of course!

Thank you all for the updates today - just catching up now

Excellent point

Wouldn't it fight with the invisible dragon?

I see Auntie Beeb is reporting on the case now: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-61275720

Does anyone know can the tribunal ban the person who had the offensive username from viewing the rest of the proceedings /
?

tabbycatstripy · 29/04/2022 21:17

I doubt they would unless the incident was repeated.

Bewaldeth · 29/04/2022 22:32

What was the offensive name? I missed this morning, not that I'm able to watch anyway.

nauticant · 29/04/2022 22:45

EJ (the judge) remarked on it but did not identify the pseudonym. The twitter account tribunaltweets reported on EJ's remark but didn't add anything extra.

I think it was the name of a popular chocolate bar, I won't repeat it and have no idea why it is offensive.

Thanks. Intrigued and wracking brains now. There are some unpleasant players in this game, it would seem.

Boadicea2 · 30/04/2022 00:07

The crowdfunder is at 97% which is pretty incredible. Supporters have raised over half a million pounds to defend Allison and through her gender critical beliefs. I hope that it will go some way to reduce the stress on her.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 30/04/2022 00:07

I'm intrigued too. I thought it was very telling that the only evidence of harassment was towards the claimant. Right side of history huh?

Wonder if they've collected data on how many of us are a) women and b) lesbians.

TheBiologyStupid · 30/04/2022 00:29

Yup, Maya Forstater, Allison Bailey, Kathleen Stock, Jo Phoenix all have something common apart from being "cancelled" ...

Redshoeblueshoe · 30/04/2022 00:31

Sorry Jules - I just can't help it
I wonder how many are a) males and b) lesbians
😎🍷

Boadicea2 · 30/04/2022 00:41

Actually an interesting question.
Out of the 30 donors on the front page there were 4 non sex-specific names and 5 male names so 21 female names. I couldn't tell their sexuality for some reason! I think that's about what you'd expect. I don't suppose it can be brought in as evidence though.

There was a bit of a hooha on twitter a while ago about someone throwing said chocolate bar into Allison's garden, which the TRAs occasionally hark back to, in order to take the piss out of her.

How on earth do these people condone this sort of behaviour? It's outrageous.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 30/04/2022 07:33

The ridiculous thing about that cross examination is that if either of those organisations had collected and kept data on sexual orientation at events they would presumably have been breaking the law. Sexual orientation is special category data and has additional protections under GDPR.

That's disgusting.

Example of male pattern bullying if ever I saw it.

For someone to make a joke username to gloat about it at the trial is just cruel.
