The Tribunal will start on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

I have sent a request but haven't had anything back yet. Hopefully nearer the time.

You think everyone would be automatically muted on joining and then the clerk can unmute those who are actually participating, rather than the viewing public.

On CVP there is a function to mute automatically as everyone joins. And all parties should be muted by the administrator, unless they are speaking.

Tribunals don't use the platform very often so their admin aren't very experienced in it. Although for such a high-profile case I really would have thought that they would get someone who knows how to use. I am also surprised that you are being able to see randoms and what they are up to. Poor Raymond really needs to brush up on his CVP admin skills.

Yester Artofhunger75 sent a great Tweet about the vile TRA Tweet about Allison.

He said to Barry Pierce 'This is your best piece of writing. With only 5 words you've shown everyone the dark malignant misogynistic racist homophobic rage that lives inside you.

tabbycatstripy · 28/04/2022 11:30

'No one is expecting random TRAs to send her well wishes, but not wishing for her death would be a start.'

I'm not saying I'm shocked by the way some people have behaved in full public view when a woman they disagree with is unwell, but I'm not not saying I'm shocked.

I can't imagine wishing a poor health outcome on anyone, let alone typing it, let alone posting it, and let alone doing so under my own name so everyone can see what a depraved person I am underneath whatever else I have going on.

Yes, I saw that - Glinner flagged it up last night I think. That is one screenshot this TRExtremist will never be able to make disappear.

These people honestly think it's a good thing to be.

Wauden · 28/04/2022 11:33

Memo to clerk: mute people! It is standard for on line talks.

SpindleInTheWind · 28/04/2022 11:35

There's a growing element of the TRExtremist ideology that puts depravity on a pedestal

I really hope Allison is recovering well. Could they adjourn the case for a while until she is properly well? As much as I would like to see how the case goes, I wouldn't want to at her detriment.

She must be under so much stress, it doesn't seem fair to continue at the moment.

It’s been pointed out that India isn’t a continent. I’ll concede definitions aren’t as flexible as I thought. Words mean things. Whoops.

tabbycatstripy · 28/04/2022 12:07

I’m sure if she isn’t well enough to carry on, there’ll be an adjournment.

They could adjourn if necessary but they would only do this as a last resort. Cost wise it would be a disaster. I should think re-listing a hearing of this length would also be a problem and the case probably would not get heard until next year at some point. Also if stress has contributed to Allison's poor health, that isn't going to get any better with time.

Wauden · 28/04/2022 12:09

Anyone guessing what's going on while we wait to enter the room again?

It's been adjourned now until tomorrow at 10am.

SpindleInTheWind · 28/04/2022 12:20

I think that Allison is now caught between a rock and hard place. Either carry on, get it over with, not incur further significant costs and delay, and possibly not be on her best form tomorrow; or request adjournment and recover fully, knowing the negatives that will also accrue.

It's a bloody tough call. I think, if it were me, I'd want it over with and go ahead tomorrow. Especially knowing I can trust my barrister and team to be on top of their game at this time.

I am so pleased she has a good friend in JKR, and bright sunlight on her crowdfunder and her case though, whatever happens.

Perhaps one of the unmuted people should loudly tell them.

AlisonDonut · 28/04/2022 13:41

I don't want to add to Allison's stress so I'm going to not log in when it does get going to be honest. This must be horrific for her.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 28/04/2022 13:42

Tomorrow... 10 a.m. ... on a count of 3...

"FFS mute us"

tabbycatstripy · 28/04/2022 14:01

I’m going to log in because I want to hear how Stonewall and GC Chambers conducted themselves and how they defend that conduct.

Yes, there is a middle ground between well wishes and death wishes. Some people appear not to understand that simply not tweeting about an issue is an option.

Pretty much we should all be muted/off-camera by default and the court should enable the facilities for the small numbers who need them. <grumble>

They can and should do so. Court can't turn the camera off for others, as that function isn't there. However, there is the spotlight function which should be used for the main parties so that only the judge and whoever is speaking are seen, everyone else is just a tiny rectangle/ not in vision. An experienced CVP administrator would know how to do all of these things.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 28/04/2022 18:31

Supportive tweet from Muriel Gray.

Just read the incredible story of what #AllisonBailey endured in her life and how she overcame almost insurmountable obstacles. How has such a brave resilient person ended up being forced into a ludicrous gladiatorial combat with people who were natural allies? Madness

Trying to join but only black screen, no "waiting for the conference host to join". Anyone else?

GrownUpBeans · 29/04/2022 09:58

I am getting "waiting for the conference host to join"

SelfPortraitWithPterodactyl · 29/04/2022 09:59

Bother, guess it's me then... Thanks though.
