The prison governors were warned this would happen...how long until this happens in England?

AlisonDonut · 14/04/2022 09:07

So trans women ARE sperm producers [AKA men].

Who could possibly have known that?

Trans sperm is female sperm though. So it’s alright.

How do we know it was consensual as the article states? They lie about everything else.

PermanentTemporary · 14/04/2022 09:14

To be fair both that prison and the NJ men's prisons sound like complete hellholes Sad noting the allegations of rape against guards.

An amusing dinosaur-themed tweet:

Surely they can't consent, seeing as their status is 'wards of the state'. The prison service takes responsibility for them whilst they are incarcerated. They can't make choices like using drugs or commuting suicide and the state has measures to prevent that. Pregnancy when locked up and denied freedom by it's very definition is rape, surely?!
BenCooperisaGod · 14/04/2022 09:34

Up until very recently there was a law that inmates cluld not consent to sex, so all intercourse would in effect be classed as rape.

This law was removed with the onslaught of males being put in womens prison. Nice and convenient.

ACLU should be tarred and feathered over this. This is a forseeable and inevitable consequence of enforcement of gender ideology in prisons. And is some states those women would be refused abortions.

It is abhorrent. It shows just how little women and children matter. We are just fodder in the face of the most outlandish demands from men.

GreyCarpet · 14/04/2022 09:40

Can't the NHS just say it didn't happen they're women so the other women can't be pregnant and then everything will be OK..?

PermanentTemporary · 14/04/2022 09:44

I've always wondered if babies born in prison would have a legal case for illegal imprisonment. If they did, unfortunately it would be presumably against the state and not the ACLU.

Oh this is interesting- do you have more info? I want to use it in an argument but I know the other party will want a link!
BenCooperisaGod · 14/04/2022 09:57

It was in a podcast i listened to recently. It was two women interviewing a former prison guard. Will see if i can find it.

Helleofabore · 14/04/2022 09:58

I wait for the usual posters to come and tell us that this is absolutely fine and that there is absolutely nothing to see here......

I notice that those posters are becoming more and more absent with the many posts detailing the very real ramifications that we are seeing now. Some of those ramifications we were told would never happen!

Deliriumoftheendless · 14/04/2022 10:07

“Gosh, you’re always complaining about loss of fertility, now you complain when women DO get pregnant!”

That sort of thing?

MiladyBerserko · 14/04/2022 10:16

Where's the lovely Moira now?

Mummyoflittledragon · 14/04/2022 10:18

I agree we cannot know if the sex was consensual, coerced or forced. These aren’t the first pregnancies, are they? I remember reading on here about women being given morning after pills.

I wonder how this will play out in the media. Will the women be blamed by society?

OvaHere · 14/04/2022 10:19

I remember those many posts circa 2016/17/18 dismissing our concerns as scaremongering and calling us hysterical because all these outlandish things would never happen.

Well here we are.

MrsJamin · 14/04/2022 10:21

It's horrible that we anticipated these things. Yes I wonder with the NHS hospital maintaining 'a rape did not occur' this prison will refuse to accept these women are pregnant?

This is all really shocking, especially your second paragraph. Good God.
Whatwouldscullydo · 14/04/2022 10:23

So who's going to have the guts to tell these children came to be?

Will there be any counselling offered by those involved in the policy making?

We all know these women will be taken care of so well. No termination complications or still births in prison..nope it always goes so well. Staff are so attentive and caring Hmm

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 14/04/2022 10:24

On another news article about similar, there were comments that it was ok because women sexually assault each other as well.

I suspect the women will be blamed in these cases too.

Whatwouldscullydo · 14/04/2022 10:29

Where are all the sturdy pyjamas and condoms?

Thought that was the solution to this stuff

BenCooperisaGod · 14/04/2022 10:29

This is where i heard about the law change. I cant remember if it was federal or state law that changed. This should come with a trigger warning. When you see up close just how much men hate us and the lengths they will go to, to give men what they demand at the expense of women is really unsettling. There is literally nothing they wont do. Nothing is off limits.

I looked into this a bit more in the past trying to work out the abortion issue (of course these pregnant inmates may have absolutely no wish to terminate). It's interesting that women's prison in the US is a relatively supportive environment for accessing contraception for poor women, they are more likely to have funded access to all types including long-acting methods and to have time to make that decision away from males in their lives.

Also true that the more TWAW a state is, the more likely it is to fund both abortion and crucially transport costs to a clinic for female prisoners. Some will find abortion but not the transport, which I suppose could allow medical abortion if the increasingly draconian US abortion laws will allow extra-clinic abortion.

I watched this. It is indeed extremely shocking. I weep for our daughters.
