What is a Woman? Advert. The tide is truly turning...

"Florida-based watch manufacturer Egard Watches has created an ad spot in defense of biological women’s rights.

What are the details?
The video opens with footage of accomplished women, including female athletes and others, and shows women through the decades and even centuries fighting for equal rights.

"What is a woman?" the female narrator says. "Is women's history of achievements quickly being erased? Is a woman a feminine force of nature? Is a woman a sister, a daughter, a mother? Is a woman the wonder of childbirth?"

"Is a woman a caregiver?" the narrator continues. "Is a woman a warrior who fought for her place?"

The video continues, "Is that now being taken away, soon to be forgotten? Is that not worth protecting? And how long do we sit idly by and not stand for the sacred value of womanhood as it loses all meaning?"

"Because we believe that womanhood is a birthright," the narrator concludes.

What else?
In a statement provided to Blaze Media, Egard CEO Ilan Srulovicz said, “The overwhelming majority of Americans are appalled by Big Tech, Big Business, and Big Government’s coordinated campaign to erase the hard-fought gains earned by untold millions of amazing women in our society."

"Yet, almost nobody is speaking for them," Srulovicz continued. "We crafted an ad campaign that celebrates our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts, and daughters, and everything they represent to paint a stark contrast to the lies we are all being told."

Srulovicz added, "The push for transgender rights is no longer about equality, it’s now a cleverly-crafted lie that comes at the expense of women. We ask all Americans to join us to speak truth.”

This is a VERY powerful advert

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. I hope their profits rocket and every other company follows their lead

Jagertoddy · 13/04/2022 10:39

I almost never buy anything for myself but I think this necklace might be a must!

nzborn · 13/04/2022 10:41

looking and shopping right now on their site.

KimWexlersPonyTail · 13/04/2022 10:43

What is the shipping charge to UK, does anyone know?

They have a UK site.
Somanysocks · 13/04/2022 10:45

I suddenly feel like shopping again.

Jagertoddy · 13/04/2022 10:46

It’s a bit for shipping - 30 dollars (about £23).

Waitwhat23 · 13/04/2022 10:46

Ooh, I like that necklace! I like the advert even better. Uncompromising, clear and powerful.

Cherry79 · 13/04/2022 10:47

👏 bravo

12yearsinazkaban · 13/04/2022 10:48

This advert feels like when you have been holding your breath and then you get that nice lung full of fresh air. I can't believe how much I've been holding my breath over this trans rights trumps women's rights nonsense.

drum123 · 13/04/2022 10:51

This is fabulous, and so is the necklace. The shipping is prohibitive me though and I can't find a UK site. Can anyone else find it?

HermioneWeasley · 13/04/2022 10:52

Amazing to see a corporation unequivocally standing up for women

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/04/2022 10:58

Lovely necklace. They need to find a U.K. distributor, they will sell loads.

Saisong · 13/04/2022 11:01

gb.egardwatches.com/collections/accessories

BaronessBomburst · 13/04/2022 11:03

Has anyone got a link to the UK site mentioned upthread? I can't seem to find it.
I'm in NL and Dutch customs will have a field day slapping on costs and import duties. If I can order from the UK site I can collect the necklace next time I'm over.

Nnique · 13/04/2022 11:03

As has been said on other threads this is about so much more than X vs Y rights. This is huge and existential. We find great relief in being told the truth, proudly, without fear, because it is THE TRUTH.

It is harmful to all of society, on every level - not only to women and children - to be coerced into accepting lies as truth, to be fearful of stating basic, immutable, biological fact, to be compelled toward speech that requires one to deny material reality.

They could not silence us, they could not stop us, and now the world is waking up.

When sleeping women wake, mountains move.

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 13/04/2022 11:04

This one popped up after that and I found myself wanting to hug him!

IsabelaMadrigal · 13/04/2022 11:07

I'm really tempted but it's £20 for shipping. Am I doing it right or can you get better shipping on sister site? I covet the rose gold one.

Saisong · 13/04/2022 11:09

I linked the gb site above but it looks like it still ships from the US (and I guess you probably have to pay in dollars?). Can't get to the shopping fee without entering all my details.

drum123 · 13/04/2022 11:09

saisong, that site has UK prices, but the goods are still shipped from the US, so it's $30 shipping. I've emailed them to say thank you for the advert, and to ask them to set up a UK site!

drum123 · 13/04/2022 11:15

Sorry, cross post!

Pluvia · 13/04/2022 11:17

Oh. They used the word sacred. And their previous advertising campaign was all about honouring the police.

I'm going to have to do more research and think a bit before I can say I support them wholeheartedly in this. I think it's probably cynical marketing — but the fact that a company has felt things have swung far enough to dare to do this is really promising.

Rightsraptor · 13/04/2022 11:17

How much are their watches ⌚🤔? Time I got a new one.
