Allison's case is due to be heard later this month and given the delays and attempts to have the case struck out, as well as the addition of direct discrimination based on GC beliefs to the case, costs have mounted.

The case is scheduled to run for 20 days (5 to 10 days being the norm).

Ben Cooper QC is representing Allison.

I'm off to plant some more flowers to really catch the sunlight that no doubt will be shining during the 20 days of her case. I thought I had enough, but more are needed because of the extension, unfortunately, which has left a bit of a bare patch!

I managed to get on, so do keep trying.

Just did some digging - went for a few dahlias rather than the usual crocuses, on behalf of everyone who can't afford it right now. Crossing fingers for a floribund spring...

On a more practical note, I wondered what the situation was re donated fees - Allison Bailey's website seems to imply that she's liable for the costs win or lose. Does that mean that there's no possibility of a court awarding her costs if she wins?

Total is now currently just under £250K.

Which by my reckoning means approx £100K has been donated in 24 hours. £5 here, £10 there, raising the case's profile and sharing the details all counts, all adds up. This case is HUGE, I am surprised that our paymasters at the Right Wing Christian groups haven't just paid for the lot, to be honest.

She may get the £400k by the end of the weekend which goes to show the strength of feeling and awareness of how groundbreaking this case will be. Not surprised at the costs given 30+ witnesses, it's a huge task for Allison's legal team to effectively prepare to take gender identity ideology to court on behalf of the entire world. Thanks Allison ❤️

I've seen so many terrible takes from TRAs as to what this case is about. They don't have clue or seemingly any understanding of legal processes.

They may be in for a shock later in the month when the case begins and the details start coming out.

@OvaHere I think they purposely don't look at the details and don't care about legal processes or the laws.

They just wany to be able to have a target. And anyone who doesn't follow stonewalls party line is an acceptable target.

thanks for this hint. I don't know how to disable the parental controls, but I logged out of Wi-Fi and was able to see her website and do the gardening via mobile data

Not wanting to derail this in any way at all (have planted a few seeds myself) but did anyone else get the Thom Browne advert popping up? I did, and I clicked - my days, what are they on? And the prices! If anyone can afford their ridiculous clothes, they could afford to fund Allison all by themselves. Although judging by the androgynous models, they might not want to...

I do not believe that this is consistent with campaigning for LGB rights; indeed one of the matters about which Stonewall later complained about me to my chambers was my vociferous objection to a Stonewall advocate lecturing on the “cotton ceiling” – the term used to encourage lesbians to have sex with males. This is in my view abusive, coercive and fundamentally homophobic. It ought to be absolutely anathema to any organisation which labels itself as a gay rights organisation as Stonewall does.

Looks like the ''cotton ceiling'' is going to come up at the tribunal. I really, really want to see them forced to explain this homophobic bullshit, and why they think a lesbian has no right to object to it.

I had a badged-up Green Party candidate at my door for the local elections claiming to have never heard of the term 'cotton ceiling' or about the whole coercion of lesbians debacle.

I really, really hope that this gets exploded up in to the higher oxygen levels of publicity in the real world.

If Stonewall and their supporters genuinely think that there is little grassroots support for Allison, the LGBA and the LGB community at large, they must be quite bewildered by what is happening with Allison's crowdfund.

Might the penny finally drop? Might they have a 'are we the bad guys?' moment? Actually, given this is Stonewall, probably not!
