I mean, what's the peg he's hanging this on? It's a direct question so it makes me think of the 'can a woman have a penis?' question that Maya etc al are encouraging us to ask election candidates. But that's hardly questioning random people about their sexual proclivities.

Lesbians are attacked for not wanting so called 'lady dick'. What's been his position on that?

If a woman decides they are a man then paying attention to their genitals is - what do tra's call it? A genital fetish?

So he either says no, he won't be intimate with any trans man because he has a 'genital fetish', or he claims he would he just hasn't but he's not opposed in principle, or he dodges the question and goes on the attack and we all draw our own conclusions on his actual beliefs 🤷‍♀️

I have noticed it’s much more acceptable for gay men to declare they’d never date trans men; than it ever has been for lesbians to say they’d never date a trans woman.

Now if we all think very hard I’m sure we could come up with a reason why that might be…

  1. He clutches his pearls over it and implies it's homophobic in the extreme to ask a gay man this without actually saying so
  1. He won't stick up for lesbians or say he agrees that they should be able to reject MTF trans people with penises

He seems to think that's a consistent position.

The whole point of the “what is a woman? What is a man?” line of questioning is to get politicians to say trans women aren’t women and trans men aren’t men.

That is the whole point of this tawdry exercise. Anyone pretending otherwise is terminally disingenuous.
