Looking at period pants - and the first review is this.

Clearly getting a sexual thrill - and M&S have given it a platform. I reported, but still live - so I guess M&S are happily going along with this.

Just reported too. It's at 247 down votes now. Go on you lurkers! Nice example of the number of women quietly engaging with this board.

zanahoria · 23/03/2022 09:00

Me too. So twee and prissy

And infantile

MagpiePi · 23/03/2022 09:07

I stopped shopping at M&S when I found out they donate large amounts of money to the Tories, but this just reinforces my decision.

StandUpStraight · 23/03/2022 09:15

I should know by now not to read this board while I’m eating breakfast. How disgusting. Downvoted and reported.

PineappleWilson · 23/03/2022 09:26

@Motorina have a look at T K Maxx if you're on the High Street. Usually have a good range of sizes.

HollyHocks13 · 23/03/2022 09:27

Reported as well - thank you for flagging this up OP

It took me a second to work out that ‘accident’ didn’t mean pissing himself.

FFS - this just really is in plain sight.

drinkgwineoutofamug · 23/03/2022 10:37

327 thumbs down. Explained why .

MrsOvertonsWindow · 23/03/2022 10:40

How did M & S get so captured that this happens and they're too scared to remove creepy reviews? Do they think that men with a fetish now make up their core customer demographic? Or are they now in league with porn sites and will be replacing women and children's clothes with fetish gear?
What on earth is wrong with them simply removing creepy / offensive reviews? It's as if they double down believing that "inclusion" means enabling every creep in the world - even when they lose so many customers horrified at their lack of boundaries.

RhubarbCrumbled · 23/03/2022 10:54

Reported and with reasons why.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 23/03/2022 10:56

It's as if they double down believing that "inclusion" means enabling every creep in the world - even when they lose so many customers horrified at their lack of boundaries.

It's exactly what it looks like.

TunaPlastic · 23/03/2022 10:57

I've written to Steve, safeguarding and brand values were my approach.

I'm not sure their brand values are safe for my teen girls. I need the shop manager to have the authority to safeguard my children. I also expect them in a large shop to provide a large separate area for people experiencing challenges. Eg. Trying to find a new bra whilst responsible for a toddler and a baby.
What's wrong with the men's changing area accommodating a man, exploring clothing options.

pucelleauxblanchesmains · 23/03/2022 11:02

I feel like enabling someone's fetish to be broadcast to unwitting women who are expecting reviews from, you know, women who use the knickers for their periods, is basically along the same spectrum as flashing. Involving someone unwilling in your kink is vile vile vile.

KittenKong · 23/03/2022 11:10
@Motorina have a look at T K Maxx if you're on the High Street. Usually have a good range of sizes.
Their changing rooms - although we’d segregated they just don’t care who goes in - even womens male partners are allowed to stand in the corridor (well inside the door) to give advice on his partners choice of frocks.

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 23/03/2022 11:11

Ah well, shame they prioritise cross dressing males over women who might actually have a need for their products. I quite liked m&s. Another shop I won't support any longer. This ceaseless, blinkered promoting of gender woo whilst ignoring the experience of women is so demoralising

Beefcurtains79 · 23/03/2022 11:44

It’s still up, despite 349 down thumbs, they must be deliberately ignoring it?

ProudAlly · 23/03/2022 11:48

@FlowerArranger

Have reported. Can other mumsnetters do likewise? Please keep bumping so it shows on Active.
Done
MaryQueenOfSwots · 23/03/2022 11:58

Now at 350 thumbs down. Reported.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 23/03/2022 12:00

Maybe amplify on Twitter?

Gizmo79 · 23/03/2022 12:31

397 and also reported.

IcakethereforeIam · 23/03/2022 12:42

I've tried again but doesn't seem to want to post. If it was amplified on twitter wouldn't we get the TRAs piling in, like that single sex girl school newspaper survey thing, hmm 7 nouns in a row, might be a personal best.

BoldMove · 23/03/2022 13:00

Thought all reviews were meant to be monitored before they could be put on their website? Most of the supermarkets have certain phrases or things you can't say and they won't let you post photos of say mouldy fruit! This is awful. Wherea the Daily Fail when you need them?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/03/2022 13:13

I misunderstood the reference to “accident”. Bloody hell.

I’m emailing the ceo. Unless he also wears period pants….
