Looking at period pants - and the first review is this.

Clearly getting a sexual thrill - and M&S have given it a platform. I reported, but still live - so I guess M&S are happily going along with this.

I've reported and will email the CX.

M & S once refused to publish a review of mine. They sent me 3 pairs of tights described as "navy mix' - there was one brown, one black and one navy pair, and I politely suggested they weren't what I had expected. My review didn't meet guidelines apparently Hmm Jesus, I despair, I really do.

Clarice99 · 23/03/2022 20:38

Now showing as 661 votes.

I submitted a lengthy scathing response. Pity I didn't copy and paste my 'rant' about this perverted review before I submitted it as I could have emailed it to the boss of M&S.

Lurkers. We are legion!

@DoYouSeaWhatISea

My tween daughter is looking at products like this on various sites, trying to prepare her for periods. It makes me sick to my stomach to think she may stumble on a review like this. I’m going to have to do the research myself, I can’t chance her finding this filth.
It's sickening isn't it. When you think of the vast porn-ridden cess pit that is the internet and how full of vile, harmful and disgusting content that parents need to shield their children from, the fact that you can't trust that your preteen daughter can shop for something as basic as this without being exposed to yet another man's disgusting fetish is beyond unacceptable and it's so disturbing that the people running the site allow it despite numerous complaints. M&S obviously have zero respect for their female customers and couldn't care less what they are exposing them to.
GibbonsGoatsGibbons · 23/03/2022 21:05

M&S enable flashing in their changing rooms (easy to safeguard against flashing in women's changing rooms you just have to exclude males) so it comes as no surprise at all that they are enabling the virtual version of flashing.

So grim & why my family haven't spent money in there in about 5 (?) years- as my youngest inherits the older kids clothes from the loft I've really noticed just how many basics we USED to buy from M&S

PriamFarrl · 23/03/2022 21:13

@MumThatsNotFair

These are the men we don't want in our toilets and changing rooms. These are the men that will go in.
Exactly. And these are the men who are fucking it up for everyone.
Nnique · 23/03/2022 21:14

Same here - none of the women in my family shop there anymore since they doubled down on their nasty ‘penises-above-all-else, even in the bra/lingerie fitting rooms’ policy. I used to kit DH out mostly in M&S whenever his wardrobe needed refreshing but he’s even more disgusted with them than I am and he’ll never wear another item from them. It’s been 3 or 4 years now and good riddance.

Clarice99 · 23/03/2022 21:19

I've emailed Steve Rowe as well as leaving a review.

I've asked for a response. Wonder if I'll get one?

KittenKong · 23/03/2022 21:58

So remember ladies - if you buy undergarments they could well have been already worn by someone else and returned.

TonyThreePies · 23/03/2022 22:21

@KittenKong

So remember ladies - if you buy undergarments they could well have been already worn by someone else and returned.
And also the pants you are buying for your teenage daughters. Grim beyond words.
thinkingaboutLangCleg · 23/03/2022 22:38

@Flippy87

I stopped buying underwear from M&S because of these reviews and the fact they allow men in the women’s changing rooms
Me too, and we can't be the only ones. I was their classic loyal middle-aged female customer, lived in M&S clothes. I now won't use their changing rooms or buy underwear except in sealed packets. I don't believe they sell more to male fetishists than they did to the women they've driven away.
greasyshoes · 23/03/2022 23:38

I was about to order them - but this review stopped me - I will not be ordering from M&S now.

I'm not sure what the problem is. You're not buying the same pair of underwear as the cross dressing man. They give a unique pair to each customer, so you are completely unaffected by someone else's private life.

Because, funnily enough women don't want to buy pants from a shop that allows cross-dressing men to have accidents in them.

There was a man either reviewing, or on Twitter, who took the pants off the rail, went into the changing room, ejaculated on them, and then put them back.

From what I remember he made sure that some of his sperm was on the handle of the door and the floor, so even if you weren't buying pants, you would come into contact with it.

So you've graduated now, greasy, from defending men in women's sports, to defending pervs wearing their pants.

I'm shocked. Not.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 24/03/2022 00:05

I gave a withering report.

I hope it was.

  1. M&S doesn't allow you to do that.
  2. That could happen in any shop, and could be done with any consumer item. That's why CCTV is important.

So you've graduated now, greasy, from defending men in women's sports, to defending pervs wearing their pants.

Do note that there's another thread about gay rights vs transgender rights. The main argument being put forward is that gay rights doesn't affect anyone else, whereas transgender rights affect women.

With people getting offended by a man wearing his own underwear, in the privacy of his own life, that argument has now completely collapsed.

With women getting offended by a man wearing womens underwear and writing reviews about their body fluids, in the public domain of reviews on a respected consumer website, that argument has now completely proved its point."

There, I fixed it for you.

Well I included the words pervert and appalling, amongst others so yes I think it was.

just reported.

nearly 800 thumbs down and only 11 thumbs up on the was this review helpful count.

Not sure anyone's taking any notice though

Lizzy1980 · 24/03/2022 03:45

@Masdintle

I can't bear the word 'panties'. Even typing it makes me feel really uncomfortable. Just yuk 🤮
Same here. Even seeing the word turns my stomach
WeWillLookBack · 24/03/2022 04:00

Updated my user name to match on other SM sites.

Maybe if M&S LOVE reviews so much - and appear to happily ignore concerns and complaints on reviews that allow sexual fetishes a platform...... we should leave some reviews. If the website was inundated with 1 star reviews - they may take some notice of women ?

EdgeOfACoin · 24/03/2022 04:07

Interesting. My post was deleted. Let me try again.

When heavily pregnant, I went into M&S to buy some basic maternity wear, i.e. leggings. I was told that they no longer sell maternity wear in store and that I should go online. I didn't want go online because (a) I wanted leggings that day and (b) I didn't want to spend unnecessary money on postage.

I felt very let down. Since then, I have not shopped in M&S and have not bought any of my child's clothes from there either.

It is interesting to read the review that has been allowed to stand.

I can only assume that people such as myself (mothers in late 30s) are not the intended market for M&S. I shall tailor my shopping habits accordingly.

Hopefully this post won't get deleted. Hmm

Ohhhhladz · 24/03/2022 06:27

"They also shape my small male anatomy to a feminine look..."

Ha ha ha, no, bro. If my Babcia had wheels, she'd be a bus.

...you are completely unaffected by someone else's private life. You know that when you post stuff online other people can see it, right?

SierraSapphire · 24/03/2022 07:01

Also downvoted and reported, though not sure the reporting is going through.

The last lot of knickers I bought from them were really bad quality anyway. I’ve seen people on here recommending Sainsburys instead.
