Looking at period pants - and the first review is this.

Clearly getting a sexual thrill - and M&S have given it a platform. I reported, but still live - so I guess M&S are happily going along with this.

Oh no! I remember a couple of years ago when they had all those AGPs who wrote reviews on women's pants, where they had an option on the profile for sex (or more likely gender) and they put 'male' it was almost seen as a provocative action. And M&S alllowed it, probably thinking they were maximising their profits, but then it seemed to stop and I think they deleted lots of these pervy reviews.
There was also some debate about why some pants, often quite expensive ones, had the crotches not sewn in properly. (The official explanation was due to cost but this didn't ring true when many cheaper pants were sewn properly).

There were loads of lingerie/underwear reviews of this ilk on their website several years back weren’t there. Some with photos IIRC. They routinely left them up didn’t they? I got too pissed off with them and cut them off from one day to the next in November (right before birthdays/Christmas/NY sales so that wasn’t very smart was it M&S??) Did they ever do a purge of all those reviews?

SpringSparrow · 22/03/2022 22:29

Have reported too.

@Betty91

This is not just an AGP review, this is an M&S AGP review

Urgh.

Thanks OP have reported.

blublub · 22/03/2022 22:33

That’s disgusting. And correlating urinating in your underwear with having a period, because it’s just the same between us girls 🙄🤮 well nice to know m&s now sell fetish wear. Will give them a wide birth in future.

TheBareTree · 22/03/2022 22:39

Reported, thank you OP.

BlaBlaSmthSmth · 22/03/2022 23:01

Ugh. Why are so many men disgusting..and happy to display the fact to everyone else?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/03/2022 06:59

Out of interest, how many reviews are there for mens pants, written by women saying how comfortable they are for pissing themselves in?

I’d hazard a guess at zero.

Motorina · 23/03/2022 07:17

Bugger. I need new underwear, because the puppy ATE my last decent bra last night. I was planning M&S on the weekend.

Where else is worth trying at a similar price point but with less ick, please? I’m a pretty standard size.

Thanks.

Somanysocks · 23/03/2022 07:35

We could always review the mens pants, say they are particularly useful when fruit shopping for carrying excess plums, bananas etc.

MumThatsNotFair · 23/03/2022 07:39

These are the men we don't want in our toilets and changing rooms.
These are the men that will go in.

Motorina · 23/03/2022 07:42

Reported the review. I now seriously have the ick about anything from M&S. Really do need those alternative retailer suggestions.

And loving the idea of reviewing the, uhhh, fruit carry capacity of boxers!

(When I was last in Spain there were two or three lingerie retailers that I used to like. Small shops on every high street. Blowed if I can remember the names - can anyone help?)

The reviewer isn't referring to a urination "accident" but an ejaculation.

I was in amazon looking for some light womens jumpers to wear for work. You know how people can post photos?

Well some person had posted many photos of themselves on the light coloured version - way too small - and in the rain (commenting a kitty how the rain makes them see through). Now they may have have breast implants but they were certainly not wearing a bra. The person was can I even say which sex they are?

Anyway - lots of sexualised photos, nips out, getting their shits n giggles.

I didn’t buy the jumper.

DevonTF · 23/03/2022 07:59

As the review is still live - decided to add some reviews of my own - 1 star with complaints about the quality. See if that helps their sales.

I left a review for M&S recently.
It was for a quilt cover I'd bought from them and I wasn't happy with it. I detailed the reasons why and in the words I wrote there was something like "and the next morning...".
I wasn't rude, wrote the review honestly and made my point.

They got back to me and wouldn't allow the review to be published because I had included the word 'next'!

Their reason was that it was the name of another rival company.

And yet, they allow these type of reviews?!

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 23/03/2022 08:18

THEY KNOW, M+S. they know that fetishists do this.

They know, and they don't mind that we do.

KittenKong · 23/03/2022 08:28

Can you imagine if they took them down? There’d be riots! And bury worked so hard.. opening changing rooms to both sexes…

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 23/03/2022 08:45

@Masdintle

I can't bear the word 'panties'. Even typing it makes me feel really uncomfortable. Just yuk 🤮
Me too. So twee and prissy.
