It appears she said at the BAFTAs 'I am here for all of the witches... bar one'

Disappointing but not unexpected.

@EeeICouldRipATissue

Just now? I posted about Mama Cash on page 2. Are you deliberately misreading posts, or what? Confused

This thread.
Meaning the Emma one you're on.
Not your Mama Cash squirrel derail.
Seriously, why not start a thread about it like other posters have suggested?
As we're saying it's got nothing to do with this thread and you're more likely to get people replying who know more about it.

What? I posted about Emma Watson's support of Mama Cash on page 2 of this thread that we're on.

@EeeICouldRipATissue

Staying classy makes me think of rolling my hair and wearing a 50s tea dress with a pretty floral and greeting my husband at the door when he gets in from work, and a '' how was your day, dear? '' he'd look at me like I'd lost it if I did Grin Anyways, I might have the definition of how a lady is to behave classy all wrong. As I said, I missed that day so happy to learn from the feminism board how to be a proper, classy woman.
It's never been classy to make nasty digs about other people's views on a public stage when they aren't there and it isn't in any way relevant.

It's about respect for other people, not being "proper" or wearing tea dresses, and it's certainly not something restricted to women.

You're just being deliberately obtuse now, you must be.

LaTisaniere · 15/03/2022 15:23

Well, at least we've moved on from calling Emma Watson a spoilt brat who's a shit actress and is only famous cause she's fuckable and rich, to a discussion about why Mama Cash has been spoken about. I'm so, so confused.

Obtuse? You're the one who won't tell us what you think a woman is.

It's about respect for other people
It's never been classy to make nasty digs about other people's views on a public stage when they aren't there

This is where double standards and utterly hypocritical comes into it.
It's usually '' fuck being kind!''
Or '' I'm not pandering to anyone's hurty feelz! ''
Or '' I'm not a fucking support human ''

But now it's be classy, should have respect.
Which is it then?

I don't think Emma is standing up for all women if she's putting the wishes of male bodied people to have access to women's refuges/prisons/sports/shortlists above the needs of women to be safe and represented in public life.

Nobody has this amount of vitriol of her, or her role in Potter until she made her own view on this clear

I have no viterol towards her but plenty of people have criticised her acting ability before any of her views were made clear
