Ok, I'm just having a rant and I know FB groups are free to set their own rules.
I've been following a fab FB group, (Home for Peculiar Artists 2), post goes up from admin saying this is a reminder, we don't allow anything Harry Potter or JKR related, if you don't know why then educate yourself. Lots of supportive replies.
I'm on the group in my real name, so I'm not going to weigh in, but it hugely fucks me off, so many people just believing lies with no dissent allowed. Just makes me think this whole thing is insurmountable.

In Scotland DCs at age 14 were being asked to complete health questionnaires that asked them about their recent sexual experiences - listed options like anal sex (questionnaires have now been withdrawn). Seriously someone thought this was appropriate for children.

Women and children are clearly being openly manipulated to accept a subset of male fantasy becoming reality.

Oh, and they said it would be anonymous, untraceable. And then said that if they felt it was warranted they would act on anything a contributor had said!

So they were not honest on any level.

And the whole thought of any kid have received that questionnaire sickens me. The possibilities of what can of worms it could open is utterly inconceivable. Safeguarding should have prevented that!

Was pleased to see a sewing one I'm in that was fairly captured finally draw th line the other day and say that Harry potter themed makes were welcome and she would continue to enjoy the stories with her children.

Pissed me off to see people gunning for small businesses run by women and it's never enough. There had been an annoying admin message about not saying ladies on bra makes a week earlier ( not bothered by not saying hello ladies but the tone wasn't great) so pleasing to see a firm message around Harry potter a week later.

I don't think anyone is frightened of trans people. As ever it is the male predators who hide like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Trans women could be predators as well as trans. In the same way that any biological male could be a predator. There is nothing about identifying as as trans that I see which reduces the risk of sexual offenses for example.

The last time I looked at the stats a higher percentage of tran women were in prison for sexual offenses than the standard male prison population.
What I don't know is how much if any research has been done on why.

Woman" and "man" are socially constructed gender identities, originally based on physical characteristics, i.e. what you call biological sex, but not inherently part of it or bound by it.
To you. To me physical characteristics are the only thing relevant to "man" and "woman"
E.g. an adult goes to the Dr to ask about why they never have periods. The doctors response will tell you if the person is a man, or a woman, in my world.

Two naked girls have been photographedwhile they were getting changed at a leisure centre in Newmarket in a voyeurism incident.

Police are appealing for information to the voyeurism incident which took place atNewmarket Leisure Centre on Exning Road on Sunday,December 5, at about 4.45pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said: "Two girlswere getting changed in a mixed changing room when they noticed what they believed to be juvenile male hand come under the cubicle and take photos of them both with a mobile phone whilst naked.

"The suspect was described as wearing blue and white striped sliders."

So what was that about cubicles being the answer?

Lavatory and changing cubicles won't stop determined men. A solid outer door referring to women, ladies or females should be enough...sadly no longer true.

Going off on a tangent, but I think may interest some on here. Maya Forstater has a website - Sex Matters - and through that it's possible to quickly register concerns about the government plan to stop talking therapies for children who are unsure about whether to 'change gender'. I've just looked and it looks straightforward, they collate answers and forward on. The alternative is no talking and help down one route.
