Evan Davis said that there will be a "good natured" chat about this in tonight's programme. This will give him a chance to demonstrate again his well-known impartiality on this issue.

It's not yet clear when this segment will be in the programme.

Oh good. I'm sure that by the end of the programme they'll have a written definition that can be used in law and illuminates exactly what gender identity is, separate from sex and gender expression, whether there is any overlap with sex, whether it relies on sex role stereotypes, and gives a non-circular definition, agreed by all, of what a woman is.

Looking forward to having that put to bed...

It’s not just the intelligence that makes it uneven. Kathleen comes across as calm, reasonable, caring and decent. No need to describe the problems with how India can come across.
