I'm feeling really upset, angry and horrified. I've only recently been following the cases of Angela Bailey, Kathleen Stock, Keira Bell etc (i've came to the debate late). I feel like scales have slipped from my eyes and the antics of SW have shocked me profoundly. I've been reading about the harm and risks involved in medical transitioning and how there seems to be a psychic contagion (amongst vulnerable girls with various complex issues) to transition and that terrible harm is being done. I've learnt that Stonewall have redefined the concept of homosexuality to same gender rather than same sex attraction. I feel like i've fallen down a mad rabbit-hole. I cant get my head around it.

Pull up a seat and join the conversation. There is always something new to discuss, to evaluate and to get your head around.

One possible approach OP, rather than piling in and trying to chase after too many strands at the same time, would be to buy the book Trans by Helen Joyce, read that to build an overall framework of what's going on, and then you can follow up without getting too overloaded trying to read everything at once.

It is upsetting and horrifying - and anger is the only rational response.

However - the tide is starting to turn. There are many signs of hope. I would far rather have looked behind the curtain now than back in 2018 when I realised something really sinister was going on. I'm not being dramatic when I say it's genuinely damaged my mental health. My entire outlook and world view is fundamentally different. As Germaine Greer said - women don't realise how much men hate them, I do now.

Ah we were all there once OP! I was completely in the beeee kiiind camp until I realised I was meant to accept trans women were literal woman and that by supporting stonewall I was effectively supporting the erasure of any and all things only for women

I spent about a year raging furiously about the insanity and now My anger is of the much colder and implacable variety - as Helen Joyce says “we have to win” it’s as simple as that

I am definitely staying tuned in - i'm also quite angry with myself for not taking a great deal of notice of all this before - although i've always been suspicious of the activities of the GIDS and absolutely detest the word "CIS". And while it might not feel like it we’ve come a very long way since I started noticing all this stuff back in 2015 - and it’s women on the ground, setting up grassroots campaigns & giving a few quid where they can / writing an email / talking to people who have made that happen.
