I wish they'd put it in the main paper rather than the Scotland section:

Another grateful subscriber here, thank you Graham. If you do see all these messages, and I hope you do, please look after yourself. When this whole tragic house of cards collapses we will all remember who stood on the side of women and girls.

Aparallaxia · 04/09/2021 20:41

He's absolutely right about Trump being a model here: narcissism made over into a political strategy. Winning by any means possible. No shame. No empathy. No ethics. TRAs simply do not see girls and women as having any intrinsic value.

jewel1968 · 04/09/2021 20:42

I am fascinated by someone that will pursue something despite the huge impact on their life. I can only think of a few people who have put their own personal interests behind what they are trying to promote/challenge.

MaudTheInvincible · 04/09/2021 20:44

Yes Aparallaxia, that's exactly how I see it.

HairyPotter · 04/09/2021 20:57

I met him at the first Glasgow protest a couple of months ago. Lovely man who is beyond brave in taking on the trans lobby.

Thank you @Glinner Thanks

GreySweater · 04/09/2021 21:07

Fantastic man. Thank you Graham for helping to elevate this issue, and doing it so eloquently. Your treatment has been abhorrent and yet you stand steadfast. You are a hero.

TidyDancer · 05/09/2021 07:22

Just adding another voice in case this wonderful man is reading this. Graham is a bloody hero and one day (as trite as it sounds) this will be seen and recognised as much as it should now. I admire him a lot, and thank him for being so amazing.

FrancesGumm · 05/09/2021 08:23

I wholeheartedly agree. I watch his YouTube shows with Helen and Arty - thank you Graham for all you do (from a concerned middle-aged woman, with a young daughter).

YetAnotherSpartacus · 05/09/2021 09:18

Did anyone see the awful meme making fun of his divorce ? :(

Xoxoxoxoxoxox · 05/09/2021 09:50

It's a good start that the Times are interviewing Graham and I genuinly think that the tide is turning.
Thank you Graham for keeping at it, love your podcasts.

GrandmaMazur · 05/09/2021 10:03

I hope Graham feels heartened by the comments. I found the article a little snide in places but the comments are great.

Thank you Graham for your persistence and bravery in standing up for women and girls and using your voice to spread awareness of the madness we’re facing.

GrabbingTheWorldByTheLapels · 05/09/2021 11:51

Karma - or divine justice - bites hard. It takes a long time to come but when it comes…

GrabbingTheWorldByTheLapels · 05/09/2021 11:53

Sorry - that was in response to @YetAnotherSpartacus and the meme gloating at Glinner’s personal circumstances.
#BeKind my ass.

Glinner · 05/09/2021 12:20

First of all, thank you so much for all the kind words. I remain honoured to be in this fight with so many of you.

I've seen a few things about the tone of Mike's piece. I am completely happy with it. All I've ever wanted is for someone to report my position accurately, which he did. Of course, there are a lot of gaps, but this is such a big story, I don't mind people not grasping it all at once.

AlfonsoTheMango · 05/09/2021 12:49

Nice to see you, Glinner, and I wish you the best.

Hazycoffeek · 05/09/2021 12:57

Adding my thanks Glinner. When I feel disheartened that this fight is never ending, I remember how honourable folks like you are endlessly fighting and it gives me courage to keep doing my part.

GrrrlPwr · 05/09/2021 12:59

Hi Graham!
You are a hero. Thank you for all you are doing. I liked the article. The journalist did seem to 'get it'.

SnoopyLights · 05/09/2021 13:04

Thank you seems inadequate for everything Graham Linehan has done for women and girls, but I'd like to say it to him anyway.

I'm sorry that it has come at such personal cost.

colouringindoors · 05/09/2021 13:11

OMG Glinner posted on the thread, feeling a bit starstruck 🤩

TheMarzipanDildo · 05/09/2021 13:20

Thank you Graham, you’re a legend.

DialSquare · 05/09/2021 13:27

Thanks from me too, Graham.
When all the virtue signallers will be backtracking about this (and I truly believe that day will come), you are one of the few that can hold your head up high.

Masdintle · 05/09/2021 14:03

Stay safe, Glinner, look after yourself. And thanks, natch Grin

DismantledKing · 05/09/2021 14:07

Thanks for years of the best comedy on the tv. We used to take Father Ted and Black Books DVDs on holiday with us as the kids loved them too when they were little. Total hero.

Abhannmor · 05/09/2021 14:09

Look after yourself Glinner. Your dedication is really appreciated.

Pudmyboy · 05/09/2021 14:12

I love Count Arthur Strong on the radio, does anyone know if Glinner get paid for that, or only for the TV show?
