Surely anyone who has a big issue with gender critical views/debate would be avoiding the board, I thought that was the whole point?

What Gender Critical people are doing is misogyny, you can't package it another way. Trans women are women...Blaming women for the male violence is misogynistic. It's not left wing and it's certainly not feminist.

Usual arse-backwards logic.

Feminism fights for the group historically disadvantaged by sexism towards female-bodied people. That group used to be labelled Women.

You want the word women to include trans women? Fine. But that doesn't rewrite history or change the purpose of feminism just because you changed the meaning of a word, because it was never about the word, it was about the people it named.

Do you know the root of the word misogyny?

FeckTheMagicDragon · 03/07/2021 23:11

Definition of woman: Adult human female
Definition of misogyny: strongly prejudiced against women.
