Another entry for the female violent crime stats. The perpetrator has been jailed, so would that be in a women’s prison?

Judge Silas Reid: “There are two sides to this lady — one is the side when she’s off medication and one is the side when she’s on it.”

Not our crimes!

What is it with the name Paris?

Tesla73 · 30/06/2021 11:49

@AssassinatedBeauty

What is it with the name Paris?
what is it with them nicking famous names too?

I'm a massive fan of the singer Chelsea Wolfe and that idiot BMX man who wants to burn the US flag has decided to use that name

LazyHorizon · 30/06/2021 11:51

Apologies for the fact that it’s a Daily Star link. The racist, ableist comments underneath are horrific Shock Have they no mods? Jeez.

This particular person has over 90 convictions apparently, for theft and many many similar unprovoked assaults on random people. It does highlight a serious issue with the legal system and the probation services as there seems to be little intervention that can be mandated. It seems like everyone will have to wait until this person seriously hurts or kills someone before they are sentenced to a lengthy term.

AlfonsoTheMango · 30/06/2021 11:56

Lady?

PronounssheRa · 30/06/2021 12:05

Paris Bregazzi has form, lots of it.

She has previous convictions for more than 60 offences including assault, harassment and shoplifting designer frocks and handbags dating back to 2007.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9279069/Transgender-beautician-33-jailed-nine-months-barging-gran-ground-London-Bridge.html

Paris does according to this have significant mental health problems.

Kotatsu · 30/06/2021 12:14

Is there something about the kind of meds this person uses which means they couldn't be turned into little bars and put under your skin - like birth control?

It seems to me that the issue is that all it might take is forgetting to take your meds one morning, which throws a person off-kilter, so they decide not to take any more meds, and it all snowballs. Making it a slow-release bar would surely be a good idea in this case (just like it can be for birth control) given the absolutely horrific alternative of the violence this person exhibits when not medicated.

Ekofisk · 30/06/2021 12:14

In 2018 she was handed a suspended sentence for pushing PC Sam Chegwin onto a Tube line.

Just weeks later she was jailed for kneeing PC Florina Russ in the chest.

Drug abuse seems to be a major factor too.

Ekofisk · 30/06/2021 12:18

And alcohol abuse.

The court heard that last July Bregazzi had drunk four bottles of Prosecco and was arguing with a friend on the platform when PC Chegwin intervened.

This person targets women. Every single person attacked has been female except the pc pushed onto the track who tried to break up a fight.

He has assaulted tens of women. Is it going to take him killing one for them to lock him away for a decent period of time?

Court heard Bregazzi has been handed six prison sentences in the last 18 months for violent behaviour.

Just shows that short sentences don't work. A clear candidate for throwing away the key.

DrinkingWishingSmokingHoping · 30/06/2021 12:29

That Mirror article says nothing about them being transgender; anyone reading that would assume that they are female. Presumably they served their pathetic pittance of a sentence in a women’s prison, too. Angry

GreenAndPurplePeople · 30/06/2021 12:29

It's clear that prison's not working for Paris. It seems these events keep happening within days of release.

Feb 2021:
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9279069/Transgender-beautician-33-jailed-nine-months-barging-gran-ground-London-Bridge.html

"Transgender beautician, 33, who once shoved police officer onto Tube tracks is jailed for nine months for barging grandmother to the ground at London Bridge a day after release from prison"

PronounssheRa · 30/06/2021 12:31

Yep, male violence against women will be recorded as female on female. I also worry Paris will kill someone eventually

PaleGreenGhost · 30/06/2021 12:32

What a terrifying individual.

I really didn't want to read this but as I share a city and public transport network with this violent male I thought I'd better memorise their face.

How lovely that they use their male socialisation and superior strength to attack and intimidate mainly women. Women who couldn't even claim in court that the attacks were motivated by misogynist hate, but who could, I presume, be forced to lie about the attacker's sex or face charges themselves.

ScreamingMeMe · 30/06/2021 12:33

They need some real help Shock . Clearly short prison sentences (presumably in a women's prison, ffs) are not working.

It does say that they’re transgender towards the end, although blink and you’ll miss it. Easy to overlook.

As op said, actual transphobia, actual racism/xenophobia in the comments. Paris needs some heavy duty interventions. It would be good to see Paris being supported by one of the trans organisations?

OrrisRoot · 30/06/2021 12:37

The thread title alone just screams incongruity, doesn’t it? Sometimes I daydream about time travelling back to the 90s to warn everyone what was going to develop, but honestly they’d all just laugh.

toffeebutterpopcorn · 30/06/2021 12:40

@AssassinatedBeauty

What is it with the name Paris?
He was a beautiful young man who had an affaire with Helen of Troy wasnt he?
toffeebutterpopcorn · 30/06/2021 12:42

So they just went after women - also disabled and Asian women.

Misogynistic, disabliast and racist?

LazyHorizon · 30/06/2021 12:46

The sheer number of violent offences this person has committed must have boosted the female crime stats considerably. The police need to refine their data categories urgently. Two sex categories converted on the hoof to gender identity categories just won’t do.

Judge Silas Reid: “There are two sides to this lady — one is the side when she’s off medication and one is the side when she’s on it

I read this as it was the defending lawyer who said this, not the judge.

Badly written article though Hmm
