I'm still so angry about this. What hits me hard is that, until a few years ago, wokebro in the video would have made me question myself and my own self-protective instincts, or at least prevent me from speaking up. I would have still had the same visceral reaction to a man committing a sex crime under the guise of 'gender idenity' (and it is a sex crime, there are just no words for the brainwashed naievity of that Laurie Penny chump, she's clearly led a very sheltered and privileged life). I would have seen wokebro as a member of my peer group and someone whose approval I sought. If he is LGBTQ as well, even more so, as I'm not, so I would look to him for guidance. I had a violent, working class father, and I naively thought men who were better educated and less obviously aggressive were much safer, men I could trust. This video need to go viral and be discussed widely, as it encapsulates everything that's wrong with the breaking down of women's boundaries at the moment.

Laurie Penny is now very upset that people took exception to her suggesting that a teenage girl confronted by a male flasher in a female spaces facility should just politely avert her gaze.

It's out of context, apparently, & everyone is a big meanie for pointing out that that is, in fact, what she said.

I've just taken a trip to the miniature violin shop but I had to return empty handed as they didn't have one small enough.

There was allegedly another incident where a transwoman went frequently to a spa without doing much except for sitting at the pool side naked with spread legs. This person said they wanted to normalise women and girls to view male genitalia. This person had a GRC.

I am actually shocked by this. I thought I had seen a lot but that one was shocking even for me.

From that article:

It's a shame that the male ones don't just stay out of our spaces, then. Isn't that odd?

I can’t really hear properly in the videos what the staff are saying, not sure if anyone else could but was it said whether the person in question actually claimed to be a TW or are they just assuming?

If it’s the same one, I didn’t read it like that, I don’t think they were trying to arrange it on gender identity, they just had too many males so we’re now restricting further sales to women and NB’s (so the poster was going to say her husband was NB to get them both a ticket)

My assumption tbh would be that men who use a naked male only space like this would probably be gay... (?) As such.Not because they're horrible. But the total reticence to get involved might be because if you're in that community the pressure and potential consequences of even slightly showing empathy or support for the women could well be much more personally dangerous than for a straight man.

@americanslang the problem is that if you think twaw, the brave spa woman is in the wrong. You have a woman trying to get another woman removed for being the wrong type of woman. This is also where "advocates" usually apply racist tropes about who else does and doesn't count as a woman.

Royal exactly, and there are stats all over the place showing how girls are pushed out of sports by boys, how women self exclude from a variety of spaces because of males. All of this data and evidence, now must be ignored in favour of male entitlement.
Sheldonesque her "argument" is that the spa would have it in their terms and conditions that trans women are allowed in the women's spaces, therefore it's up to women who would be uncomfortable to check the terms ahead of time (and then self exclude, naturally). She also claimed that there was no proof this incident happened, just video of "a woman shouting about it" ( dunno what happened to #Believe Her, obvs now we need video evidence or it didn't happen). Sadly this is the feminism which is all over academia now, all over women's rights organisations, etc
