Who do you Truss more?

A deliberate Freudian slip in the title - a Twitter poll for those on the hell site.

Who do you trust more - Stonewall or Liz Truss.

A weird premise, comparing a government minister and a charity who consider themselves to be ruling the U.K. government but there you go...

Those replies! Are they for real? Is that what being a politician is all about - looking good and having a lovely smile?

She's displaying Trumpian levels of public discourse there. I'd laugh, but then I think of how unelectable all this makes Labour.

It's depressing.

Dawn might be a decent constituency MP, but her refusal to engage with the issues and instead dismiss people who disagree with her as trolls makes her look like a teenager.

She will never engage on this issue in good faith

Is she a decent constituency MP?

Being a woman, I wouldn't trust her an inch. Or many other MP's. Don't know if she would represent woman without trumping men's wishes over them.

What if you went to her and told her that there were vulnerable women in refuges in her Constituency who were being traumatised by the presence of males in their midst?

Cailleach1 · 03/06/2021 08:53

Like in her interview, when she said transwomen are women. Imagine if you were raped by a male and she said that was a woman, silly.

Just seen there's been some awful trolls on my timeline.

Someone among the mostly sycophantic responses pointed out that answering a question she'd posed isn't actually 'trolling'.

What I find interesting is how massively she misjudged this - she honestly must have thought that the result would have been overwhelmingly pro Stonewall, versus a Conservative (sorry, always 'Tory') minister. It was her Twitter, presumably likely to be seen primarily by her followers.... I suppose people do 'follow' politicians they don't support.

I wonder what results the same poll would result in on MN?

DialSquare · 03/06/2021 09:03

All the idiots backing her up and calling her queen will be the same people scratching their heads as to why Labour won't be in power any time soon.

Yes, just over 30% were trolls.
