Who do you trust more - Stonewall or Liz Truss.

A weird premise, comparing a government minister and a charity who consider themselves to be ruling the U.K. government but there you go...

She's got over 150k followers but somehow still isn't getting the result she wanted.

Labour as a party are absolutely fail to read the room time and again.

It's the same patronising message of "we are/know better than you and you should think as we think" - yet they are surprised when the majority of people say - no.

They feel entitled to our vote despite sneering at us. A poll or a general election.

They never look in the mirror or take the time to get off their self created pillar of righteousness and think - actually maybe we are the nasty fuckers this time....

Probably the only time you will ever trust a government minister more than a pressure group, but perhaps sends a message to the Labour Party or even just to Dawn Butler.

I can imagine in a constituency with a significant number of Jewish people such as the neighbouring one of hers which includes Golders Green, the percentage not trusting Stonewall would be even less.

Thinking about this a bit more, I feel this poll is actually an insight into where the LP has got it wrong on this issue.

They've always tried to frame it as a nasty right wing vs nice left wing issue - hence it's Truss vs Stonewall. A total lack of nuance that many people might not agree with the Tory party on a number of policies they do "trust Truss" on this.

They've never full understood that what's been at stake re: woman's rights has cut clean through "traditional" political alignments and allegiances.

And on the basis of this poll they still don't understand (or at least DB doesn't) and until they do they are continuing to alienate a lot of left leaning voters.

Strange that it hasn't occurred to them that there are women on both left and right, and centre, of the political spectrum, parents, likewise autistic people. That if voters are strongly motivated by issues of social justice, that being told they are not allowed to comment or have any opinion will be understood as social INjustice across the political spectrum.

Such a blinkered view of how people think is offensive to everyone.

1. Even if you believe TWAW and are allies, you're never safe.

2. Blame transphobes for the poll not going the way it's meant to.

3. Surely they've already forgotten about superstraight - people don't buy into this shit.

She never actually clarified on what I am supposed to trust one more than the other. Good bottle of wine? Good picnic spot? Weather forecasting? To argue who should make the cup of tea?
