It took over a year...

"LGBA applied to register as a charity in March 2020. Its purposes are to promote equality and diversity and human rights.
The test of charity status is set out in law. A charity is an organisation with exclusively charitable purposes for the public benefit, that is subject to the jurisdiction of the High Court of England and Wales. If it meets these legal tests, it will be entered on the charity register.
It is not the Commission’s role to make value judgements about the aims or ideas put forward by any organisation. Instead, its role is to decide whether an organisation’s purposes fall within the legal definition of charity.
The Commission received a number of objections to the registration of LGBA as a charity. It carefully considered these as part of making its decision. In handling this application, the Commission has had regard to the Public Sector Equality Duty.
Registered charities fall under the Commission’s regulation, and their trustees must continuously meet the legal duties and responsibilities set down under charity law. A charity can promote the rights of one or more specific groups, but may not do so whilst demeaning or denigrating the rights of others, including on social media – and the Commission will consider taking regulatory action where that occurs.

I have accessed various forums and social media over the last 6 or so years since become involved with the gender debate and I can in all honesty say that I have rarely seen GC feminists or their allies post with the same level of violence that the TRA supporters do.

Really. I will ask for evidence on that spurious claim. Although I notice you now use ‘GC community’ which is ever so far reaching and may be misapplied to people who are not GC as such but simply have one or two aligned points. Very interesting.

So I will narrow that down to, please provide me with evidence that GC feminists (and I don’t claim to be a feminist by the way) send death threats.

I shall ignore the completely irrelevant ‘insults’ you threw in there. There is simply no comparison between perceived insults and death threats.

Not even in the ‘proportionality’ ball park. But it speaks volumes to your intent.

I know. Women have made so much progress in the last few years. It's amazing having watched some of these things start off as a vague idea and turn into something real, powerful and quite special ♥️

No I don't see how stating the fact trans women are women changes that.

It's not a fact, it's your belief.

I don't know. I think it has raised serious questions about whether Stonewall and others are meeting the standards set out by CC and reminded us that we can also complain. The more they have to set out the conditions for GC groups the more obvious it is that others are not meeting those same conditions.

I had the same thoughts. In group discussions (whether adults or children) there can be one or more who whilst adding little of value demand centre stage for whatever reason/s. It is not neccessary for others to indulge and we should always be mindful of the quieter, more considered contributers, whose important contributions get overlooked.
