After the demise of no 4 thread, does anyone think it’s worth reviving or should we rephrase the question? 96%- 4% at the end I think.

Yes, the "they just want to pee" derailing there always is is beyond tedious.

I agree there are lots of other issues that shed light on the situation. Clare Dimyon's story really shocked me and the nhs's continued comparing it to racism etc.
Also the judge's statement in the Maya case that believing in two fixed sexes wasn't worthy of respect in dignified society etc.

People still think this is fighting between two groups on Twitter, not the policy of the nhs or employment law.

I just came here to say I couldn't find the other thread figured it might get deleted. What with the masks slipping and showing theor true colours amd the incredible hatred fir women.

I'm.sure it was quite valuable while it was up.

At the end of the now deleted thread someone had asked for one example of a transwoman harming women/girls in a changing room etc. I posted links of several examples that really offer a stark demonstration of what can happen. Wonder if that is what tipped the monitors over the edge [muses 🤔].

I would also say that if Langrycleg is indeed LangCleg then, come on, Lang, surely you must have been able to come up with a better username than that!

Dog peeing AIBU are very common though.

This random lets their dog pee on my grass every morning gets a resounding YANBU.

@picklemewalnuts

You got further than me, wines. I only started this morning.

I haven't followed all of them. I'd be tempted to give it a rest. A continuation will call back the same handful of negative aggressive people to continue the bun fight. I'd have a rest, then restart in a month.

Bank your winnings, then try again.

Agree. Hopefully it’ll made a lot of people think & question a lot more

Glinner’s on aibu about requesting same sex provision - mentions Clare Dimyon :-)))

The thread last night was targeted by posters that wanted it taken down.

The links to abuse in female toilets were eye opening. These need saving somewhere so that next time someone says it never happens they can be directed to a thread or folder?

Actually, we do need them on a thread especially for attacks in single sex spaces.

One regular poster has been asking for evidence. And does keep implying that it never happens. It is just feminists making up stories.

Hers the latest one - shame I missed last night’s one have we got any way of accessing the posters with useful links?

This still shocks me every time I read it.

I got to about 3am before I went to bed. The joys of insomnia.

The posters trying to derail couldn't even give a coherent definition of trans, so how can you legally protect something so obscure it can change on a daily basis?

I’m still waiting for actual evidence that transwomen are in any more danger in men’s single sex facilities than any other vulnerable male group like teenagers or small slight men.

Interestingly literally none has been forthcoming (unless you count that self selected survey from somewhere in America 6 years ago). Surely with all of the activists resources they can come up with some actual evidence of danger? Like the sort we keep producing?
As opposed to some surveys saying that certain people feel unsafe for unspecified reasons which may include teenage girls ‘looking at them funny’. EIzz.

Ahhh!! Michael of mumsnet posted that that poster was a troll and is now banned.

For five threads they trolled!

And kept us giving great information for readers.

Sorry, I've so little time right now to help out with posting, but well done and thanks to all putting in so much effort on the AIBU posts. It really is worth it, I think. And the more flak they attract the more useful, as we can then discuss points and I think the discussions are often very illuminating, so great to get lots of alternative viewpoints and posters on board discussing, too.

I'd also be interested in any stats/stories about transmen in men's single sex facilities.

There was an article recently - a crowdfunder for a young transman - posted in here. Said transman had been threatened in a male toilet so reverted to using women's toilets.
