So another brand proves that they’re not keen on women having thoughts

No, don't stop! Keep equating them to donuts, it really works with my world philosophy Grin.

PotholeParadies · 03/02/2021 15:16

I can't stand donuts or doughnuts. Too sickly. The smoothie was nice though.

@Wearywithteens I totally agree with you. Closing the article with a statement from Stonewall leaves one with little doubt as to where the writer's feelings lay. It was rather badly written and disjointed all in all.

The BBC will obviously fail to follow this up with examples of the digusting tweets Flashmaggie as received as a result. Hatred is fine as long as it's directed towards a woman.

This is what they've come up with

My kingdom for a comma. Hmm

@Biscuitsanddoombar.

Love that gif. I surprised a colleague by demonstrating that I can tell a woman riding a motorbike (am a biker) even from a distance.

Men balance from their shoulders, women from their hips.

TheChampagneGalop · 04/02/2021 07:57

They work hard to be fair and inclusive? Not towards women though. Some rando can just accuse a woman of something and they publicly unfollow her.

TheChampagneGalop · 04/02/2021 07:59

Inclusive is another trendy word that I have started to loathe.

JulesJules · 04/02/2021 08:16

Did I miss out a comma, @ShagMeRiggins ?

I find it generally means that they're excluding of women. It's code for 'we're raging gynophobes'.

Yes.

No, I was referring to the content in the link. Your punctuation was splendid!

Yes, that's another appropriated useful word, whose appropriation and distortion of is now harming the people it was invented for.

Boundaries. The problem with all of this is the unwillingness to face that strong fences make good neighbours, and this involves the word 'no' and resilience when someone has a tantrum to try and get their way.

Can I ask what Journal.ie have done?

ScrapThatThen · 04/02/2021 12:44

I wonder what Innocent would say about their parent company lobbying against laws cracking down on the use of forced labour (where women are also reporting systematic rape and forced sterilisation). That doesn't seem very woke to me? www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/11/29/business/economy/nike-coca-cola-xinjiang-forced-labor-bill.amp.html
