I thought of doing this thread a while ago, and the thread about GMB has just reminded me.

This is to collect examples of people companies, etc who have strongly supportedself ID and spouted off about "bigoted" "terfs" who have then shown themselves to be hypocritical/misogynistic/downright dangerous.

Please feel free to add your own examples!

Did Jess Bradley at the NUS shout about TERFs? I don’t know. But Jess was suspended from their post over allegations of flashing and other things and the NUS never really cleared up what happened, if I recall correctly.

Adam Savage of Mythbusters regularly grouses about terves on Twitter and has now been accused of rape and molestation by his sister - the statute of limitations was changed for a year in New York IIRC to allow historic sex abuse to be prosecuted, so that's why she's speaking out about it now, before, she couldn't do anything about it legally.

I haven't seen anything lately but Rose of Dawn was following the case and did a few videos about it, Bradley's a regular feature of "this week in Trans-Stupid" - apparently the NUS were secretly sticking by him and supporting him quite a lot while he was suspended.
