Lots more people will have seen that Newsnight report since JKR shared it and it is hard to frame yourself as as trans ally when you are turning a blind eye to homophobia, safeguarding concerns and medical abuse of children.

It's as if MB makes these daft comments and empty statements to get publicity for their modelling portfolio. They're not exactly winning anyone over with persuasive argument.
