turned out their other kidney was different genetics and they could sustain a much more common transplant

Agree. With any luck things will get more sane as the window moves back. I can sense the whole cancel culture thing is ageing like milk and Jo Rowling is bringing light on the issue to many, many women who had no idea. And are not having any of the TRA lies.
