The minute Harry, Ron, Hermione and SK have a trans partner I’ll believe them that that’s what they think, that TWAW or that TWAM.
The same goes for the posters on here that trying to get us to believe that they actually think trans women/men are biological women/men.

@robin1984: The first section of that article, pointing out that some people are not XX or XY, refers to intersex/DSD/disorders of sexual development. These are rare in the general population: the Intersex Society of North America (isna.org/faq/frequency/ ) says frequency is between 1/1500 and 1/2000. And quite a lot of intersex people are pretty pissed off by the hijacking of their condition to make the trans case. Check out @intersexfacts on Twitter.

The second section, on "sexed brains" is complete, copper-bottomed nonsense. And incidentally, is much more akin to the sort of stuff that Mermaids put out (the "Barbie to GI Joe" scale www.butterfliesandwheels.org/2019/the-barbie-gi-joe-scale/ ) than anything any self-respecting feminist would say or subscribe to. Women as a class are discriminated against on the grounds of biological difference (smaller, weaker) and capacity for childbearing (going to go off and have babies rather than progress up the greasy pole), not some mythical brain structure.

But politics, scholarships? Men and women are equal in these disciplines and if they are looking to be treated as women isn't it the case that it's two women competing for these things on a level playing field?

Why do you think that there is a FT Top 100 Champions of Women in Business list in the first place? Is it because women are just oh so well represented in business already?

Do you also disagree with awards, positions, organisations for black and ethnic minority people as well? Would it be OK if I, as a white person, took a position which was created to try and give BAME people more representation because 'we are equal anyway'?

Maybe that makes sense in your head or in the echo chamber you exist in online but that's really not a good point. Are you telling me now you think it's a threat to women in business? That I as a man might identify as a woman to get ahead in my career?
