I actually felt OK about voting a tactical anti-Tory vote in my SDLP/Sinn Fein marginal, because SDLP aren't Labour. But this thread seriously made me reconsider that, purely on the grounds that they are sister parties.

I've just done some hasty research and the SDLP have apparently clarified they are not going to take the Labour whip as they used to. So I guess I'm still going to vote for the person who will actually show up at Westminster and vote against the Conservatives.

But thank God Labour have no chance of winning. I'm terrified of what Boris and his cronies are going to do to us, but I'm even more scared of what Momentum could metamorphose into.

When technology advances a bit they can put this on their shirts.

I think you're right - that's why he's pointing at the words (if he was heterosexual, you'd assume he was fondling her breast, but that's another matter) and captioning the pic "Fact".

That picture goes a long way towards explaining the exponential increase in young girls hitting puberty and suddenly deciding that their gender identity cannot be female.

If this is the pornified role model held up to girls then it makes perfect sense for the thinking ones to identify as boys, or non binary, rather than with a self chosen role that treats your self respect and bodily integrity as a joke.

Yep. and the thing is, hard and depressing though it would be if I was between a rock and a hard place - not quite there yet but given the anti-woman stance of most parties maybe soon to be there - I'd go with belonging to my man / men than belonging to all men and particularly misogynist men like OJ.

DH and my Dad are both decent sorts who believe that women are adult human females who deserve equality and they both also do the housework (Dad more than DH but you can't have everything ). So, it wouldn't be an appealing choice but it would be an easy choice. And they wonder why women are voting Conservative.
