I blame MN. Normally I would have passed over this clip as some Mail propaganda, and the content indeed may be just that. However all I was seeing was misogyny and a man unwilling to listen to a clearly thoughtful and considered woman and debate properly. OJ is really awful.

Has anyone here read Dworkin's Right Wing Women? This kind of shit is part of what motivates some women to align themselves with the right - the men there still don't really care about what you want or need, but their misogyny tends to manifest as more of a women belong in the home way rather than an all women should be open to providing sexual services to any man who asks way. The contempt is in some ways more veiled, and less obviously sexualized.

I have to wonder how all the other young women at that event felt, seeing the way the men were reacting to the young woman in the tshirt. I'd bet fear would be as much a part of it as anger - there's always an implied "and if you don't play along nicely..."
