Except female only taxis aren't legal. There are firms with only female drivers but none that are allowed to only pick up female fares, which discourages more females from being drivers.

And other female only services are under constant threat of vexatious litigation.

And of course, the point: nobody has a problem with trans services existing, we'd just like female only services to exist too.

There’s plenty run by female drivers. Most people in urban areas can get a female driver if they request one.

This firm is in NY and states it’s ‘trans friendly’ not that they don’t accept non trans people. The ‘female only’ cab company opened in NY 5 years prior. This is the first of its kind, hence the news coverage. It really is pointless discussing.

Yes, female only taxi services should be available, it’s ridiculous Glasgow denied one. Female doesn’t equal safe but I know some women feel safer with females.
