I would have been protester number 9 but my need to keep my job to be able rais my children which would be at risk due to the bullying nature of the T stopped me.

I’ve taken postcards and stood outside shopping centres and explained to women what sex self-ID would mean for us.

I am pleased to report that about 90% of them agreed with my view that this is a clash of rights in which women’s voices need to be heard.

Not one person who I spoke to thought I was any kind of bigot.

I wasn’t as brave as the women at pride, by by Christ I can tell you I was afraid. And I stood up in the real world and made my beliefs known.

there were a lot of people there young old all genders cheering and supporting. if you can only see white men in the video which I don't think is representive as there were a lot of people there it was quite loud.

I was at a meeting recently that had 700 women (and some men) there, discussing the impact on women’s sports. It was fucking fantastic. But by all means, do keep telling yourself that we’re some odd minority, being underestimated is really helpful.

Hmm. It's just such a helpful image isn't it? Small group of women, peacefully protesting about their rights in a setting explicitly set up to allow them to speak about their sexuality. This is pretty much what I meant. If you’re going into a place like pride, chances are people are pretty accepting of trans people. So to go there and say ‘woman don’t have dicks’ or whatever to alienate trans people is obviously not going to result in everyone turning around and joining in.

The protestors know this. And it’s beginning to look like these protests are about trying to get a negative reaction to help progress within the oppression Olympics this has turned into, rather than actual awareness and change.

Protest where you want but it’s ridiculous to expect everyone to agree with you and then turn it into a war on lesbians when they don’t.
