I’m not doubting that MAPs want to jump on the LGBT scene and be accepted at pride etc, of course they do.

I’m doubting the narrative that they are accepted by the people within the LGBT and pride communities.

He said he was at Berlin Pride in another tweet and that he met up with two friends, also MAPs.

So yes, they are attending Pride.

I was chatting to a young lesbian couple (18, together since 15) at a gathering the other day.

They were describing the homophobia they get re men constantly asking questions. And then that people always ask "do you like boys too."

And that bisexual peers received much more abuse as everyone thinks being bi is basically another word for promiscuity.

It seems to me that no one is respectful of women saying they are only attracted to women. "Bigoted homosexual" said to lesbians is simply put, you aren't attracted to males so you are a bigot. You must be bi. You must be available for all.

Age old misogyny as well as objectification of women as sheaths for penises.

They were also saying, interestingly, that around a third of the girls in their school were lesbians. Only a few boys were gay, due to the difficulties around toxic masculinity and coming out. In a way it was refreshing to hear their school experience was so positive for lesbians. Knowing the kid of parents and teachers living around there though I'm not surprised. A shame the boys still find it hard to come out though.

By saying the MAPs openly walked around displaying their pedo status without abuse at pride says that all lesbian woman, gay men, transmen/woman there ignored and accepted them.

If I saw someone in a top or something saying ‘MAP’ Or similar, I would 100% question them, so would everyone I know.

Some people may not, granted, but to say they freely walked around like that, with no evidence?

I have a couple of lesbian friends and a gay male friend. They don't know each other but have all told me independently of each other that they don't go to Pride anymore. It isn't for them now. One said it's just a Mardi Gras and many of those who go are straight Fine. But it's not Pride. Another said it's too corporate much like Glastonbury is now part of the summer season for those who can afford it. And one said lesbians aren't welcome anymore so Pride isn't for them.

Whatever it was once meant to be it isn't now.

Yesterday, it was said that people were shouting at the lesbians rather than the MAPs. I said in response to this, why were the lesbains shouting about trans rather than pedos?

As a member of the LGB community myself roses , i'd have to draw your attention to the fact that we are individuals. Unfortunately there are wronguns in any given community willing to turn a blind eye to child abuse.
