If you have sex with a biological male, you arent a lesibian. Because that's not the definition of the word.

You may be a lesibian and then have a relationship with a trans person. But that's not a lesibian relationship.

If my male dp, decided he now Identified as a woman and I stayed with him, i wouldnt all of a sudden become a lesibian.

Although I dont think I should have to explain definitions of words.

People here are claiming those women were anti trans protestors. But you refuse to say exactly what's on the signs or why its anti trans or wrong to say that.

It's very odd behaviour, for someone entering a debate.

This. So we have a small group of lesbians at a Pride firmly stating they are lesbians in the dictionary definition of the word and Pride lets them be harrassed and threatened because they state they are same SEX attracted.
And then I also have to say I find the gloating on Twitter and here absolutely awful. Transwomen want to be accepted? Then stop kicking people down.

Bespin, it is the same as saying any male can be a woman based on their say so. If a man can be a woman by saying they are a transwoman then woman means everyone and therefore noone in particular. If a man can say they are a lesbian when they are in a opposite sex relationship, then lesbian means everything and therefore nothing specific.

The action and the word don’t match.

Have the bacon sandwich, enjoy the bacon sandwich, but for the love of god don’t tell vegans that they too can have bacon sandwiches and still be vegan, because that’s utter bobbins, and stop calling yourself a vegan, because the pig you’re eating would very much disagree that it’s a vegetable.

I've seen two previous posters saying they would be the 9th and 10th protester.
Number 11 here, also working in too "woke" an environment to speak up. I'm embarrassed to say that I was one of the people perpetuating this before I realised what was going on.

Bespin, sexual orientation is a protected characteristic under equality law. Based on sex.

Fought for by homosexuals. Gays and lesbians. In a loong and difficult campaign.

Thinking that a bunch of heterosexuals who have taken over pride, are going to affect this, is insane.

Although all this bigoted shouting is necessary to expose the discrimination.

Pride is now not representative of the orientation of homosexual people. However much you like to think it is, and how ever much they say it is. It isn't. Paedophiles on Twitter boasting how they wore paedophile T-shirts and sought each other out, furries, bronies.

Denying the description of what constitutes a lesbian, in fact what constitutes any sexual orientation, is in direct breach of the equality act. The equality act that gays and lesbians fought to represent them, ffs.

But you keep going. I genuinely think that all you're doing is fast forwarding the inevitable backlash.

People in heterosexual relationships don’t need the protection of the equality act for their sexuality because that’s not what it’s for.

The protection of the equality act that covers protections for transgender people is the provision related to gender reassignment, not sexual orientation.

Separate protected characteristics for sex, sexual orientation and gender reassignment. It was written that way for a reason, and it is the current law.

Up until now they haven't. But if people are claiming there is actually no such thing as sexual orientation, which they are, then they might well have to resort to the equality act for protection.

If you can be a vegan who eats bacon then yes, all pigs do become vegetables and anyone who disagrees is just out of touch with the science, which could probably definitely discover that pigs are vegetables because we just don’t know what we don’t know yet!

Disgusting. What’s even more interesting is that people protested against trans woman calling themselves a word yet not against pedophiles. Thread after thread of (mainly) mothers so worried about the potential danger of a transwoman yet barely any on actual open and proud pedophiles. The world has gone mad.

If you’re all so sure that there were no anti-trans messages and that you’re definitely going to be on the right side of history (not passing comment either way on those) then why did only 8 woman actually turn up? Why would you get sacked if none of the messages were anti trans?

And is it not lesbian erasure to also claim that trans inclusive lesbains are not ‘real’ lesbians? Considering the ratio of lesbians (at pride atleast) seem happy enough with the T anyway?

What were the anti trans message? Because no can pin point it?

People are afraid of getting sacked and protest in a minority, because people are trying to force us to accept that people with penises are women and if you dont you get called transphobic. Transphobic is a stackable offence.

Except a transwoman isnt a woman. By the definition of the word. They are not women.
Nor are the lesibians. Look the words up.

TRAs dont seem to think words like 'woman' actually dont have meaning and can be applied in anyway they want. They say the definition doesnt matter. But then apparantly misusing He/She is a hate crime and the meaning if those words are important. Odd that only certain words have meaning.

They tried to make our toilets gender neutral. And there were 5 of us that objected and we were told to be quiet about our objections. Until a transwoman also joined the objections. Based on the fact that she knew women did not want to share facilities with any biological, regardless of what that biological male labelled himself.

Women are sacked or overlooked all the time for being pregnant. Its illegal and technically shouldnt happen. Still does.

Women who stand up for what they believe in, often dont fair well.
