So you are prepared to go without a gym membership just in case you had to be in the same room as a trans person?

It's not them being trans that is the problem.

Single sex changing rooms should be exactly that. They're supposed to discriminate, in sense 2 of the word 'recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another.'.

I would ask to see their Equality Impact Assessment. I would assume that Dudley has a high population of Muslim women who need to know that single sex means single sex.

Ok that's a start. Now will you admit that some men will force sex on women, and even among those that don't, they enjoy being potentially able to force it? And that they will go out of their way to satisfy either of those urges, for either actual sex or intimidation?

VeronicaDinner as I understand it the concern is not genuine trans people but men who claim to identify as female, having had no hormone therapy or surgery, entering women's toilets and changing rooms as an opportunity to prey on victims.
