I love Silent Witness and don’t care about the fact that pathologists don’t get involved with murder investigations or whatnot. Fiction innit.

I thought these episodes were highs and lows. The death threats from feminists made me v cross. The immediate acceptance from scientists that the people had all changed sex made me raise an eyebrow. And the “Chris was always a woman, you understand that?” at the end was a bit much. As was the very end with the wife picking up the husband - wtf?! He did not deserve her being so nice to him!

But the Kelly character talking about what a woman felt like etc and acknowledging how much hurt she had caused was really good.

I knew it.

I haven’t seen it yet. DH and I use it as an excuse to shout at the telly - ‘why on earth are you going into that building on your own’?! Kind of thing.

I was disppointed at scientists saying all embryos have the potential become to become male or female. I thought they would at leAst know that.

I agree, Jackshouse. The characters are supposed to be doctors and scientists, so it's reasonable to expect the writers to make sure the basic science is correct.
