Thought people might be interested in this article. One thing that strikes me is the 'reducing women to their biology' argument. Don't transwomen 'know' they're not male because their body feels wrong? Then it is about biology isn't it? Otherwise why do they think they're female?

A post that got lost in all the merriment about Toxic Hotbeds and secret codes was this one from the morning:

That they’re monitoring Mumsnet just shows how little self-awareness they all have. Their own online groups and websites reveal their misogyny, homophobia, outright hate for women and of course are packed with all that autogynephilia that apparently doesn’t exist.

The Facebook group ‘trans rights UK’ is where they coordinate attacks on women individually and women’s grouos. There are other discussion boards like Angels, Susan’s Place and Crossdreamers.

All these places show clearly the transgender community does not support women.

I had the displeasure of looking at Crossdreamers and it gave me the bloody heeby-jeebies. Some of the voyeurism, envy and crazy talk makes them seem not miles away from Jame Gum from Silence of the Lambs. Not the kind of people women should feel at ease around.

I think Silence of the Lambs is on C5 over Christmas. Given its perfect portrayal of AGP (not talking about the murders here) I wasn't sure if they would ever show it again!

Oh I have to watch it. It is a fantastic film.

There’s probably consternation that we’re not cowed by the “transphobe/TERF” mudslinging. The problem is, when merely stating scientific facts and dictionary meanings is described as hate speech, the slur itself becomes meaningless.
