As a Hull Graduate, I think the names fine. Sorry she doesn't agree with their lifestyle. You're both entitled to your opinion. I'd rather opt for democracy.

Someone ought to tell this trans student that the overwhelming majority of their lecturers don’t believe that they are a woman either.

Somerville has a Thatcher room - a woman responsible for wrecking whole communities. And a few snowflakes at Hull are upset because an accomplished, decorated woman can't drink the kool-aid and pretend they're something they are not.

Really encouraged to see the comments on that Twitter feed are largely critical of the transgender person whining about it. Lots of them referring to science and biology, and disputing the logical fallacy of trying to claim TWAW.
Good for Hull Uni. And how typical of TRA narcissism that they want to make it all about themselves.

The VC is Susan Lea and she's bloody wonderful, we work with her quite a bit.

Good for her - universities take a lot of punches from the media so it is very brave to stick your head above the parapet.

I was forced to attend geography lectures by someone who refused to accept the world was flat.
