Sorry, we were told that wouldn't happen, so it hasn't.

SlowlyShrinking · 08/11/2018 23:59

But women are just as violent as men, which is why it’s fine to put violent male sex offenders in with female prisoners. Gangs of women beating up men is definitely a thing and happens all the time 😳

BitOfFun · 09/11/2018 00:17

Yep, I think we called it at the time, didn't we? Funny how women can spot a bloke instantly, seeing as how we've always had to in order to keep ourselves safe.

LikeDust · 09/11/2018 00:19

Why do they call them women without putting 'trans' at the front.
Offensive fucks.

AornisHades · 09/11/2018 00:21

I believe the correct response is "Well colour me surprised".

BitOfFun · 09/11/2018 00:40

It shows how posed and cropped photos can be deceptive; the video shown at the time made it much more obviously that the assailants were male.

BitOfFun · 09/11/2018 00:41

*obvious

Noqont · 09/11/2018 00:46

Oh yes. The men that were apparently women. I remember. What a surprise...

TrashyTerf · 09/11/2018 01:02

FYI

3 were trans women and 1 was natal.

FuriousOfSurrey · 09/11/2018 01:43

Shocked. Not.

Charliethefeminist · 09/11/2018 06:02

Good for the Sun pursuing it to the hearing.

glenthebattleostrich · 09/11/2018 06:14

I'm expecting a report on hell freezing over.

I mean, being right is one thing, but then having to praise the bloody sun.

PyeWackets · 09/11/2018 06:35

Colour me shocked.

Yes, we called it, obvious.

olderthanyouthink · 09/11/2018 06:54

@BitOfFun that's just what I was thinking. (Except for Michael/Tamzin)

HandsOffMyRights · 09/11/2018 07:03

Good on The Sun. At least it mentions transwomen and male born.

However, was it Jeremy Vine who used this recently on his radio show as an example of female violence? May have been the one where Posie rang in.

In other words, we're seeing the danger of what happens when violent male crime is reported as female - media and society believing that women are just as violent as men and therefore trying to weaken our argument.

Some TRAs pick such showy pseudonames too. I'm thinking Lush, Munroe. Part of the stage act/costume

Floisme · 09/11/2018 07:29

Will they be recorded as female crimes? I think what worries me the most is that the next generation might not even be able to see male violence,

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 09/11/2018 07:40

I resent the perps being labelled as "female" because it distorts crime statistics. This was a crime committed by biological men not women and should be recorded as such.

Transwomen are not women.

Women do not have penises.

Women are adult human females.

Needmoresleep · 09/11/2018 07:41

dailym.ai/2DevIoH in Mail as well.

Assuming they are found guilty....which prison?

rightreckoner · 09/11/2018 07:43

I wrote to the Evening Standard asking why they hadn’t covered it. They love a story like this - violence on the London Underground. With video footage. It’s their ideal story.

And yet nothing. So strange.

Badstyley · 09/11/2018 07:44

Gosh, I had such a row on facebook with someone about this. She/he/they, don’t know their pronouns, was first insisting they were actually women, then that the man must have groped one of them or something to get such a stomping. It was one of the most pathetic pieces of straw clutching male violence appologia I’ve ever witnessed. I’d like to show her/him/them this but they then blocked me, because I’m a transphobic bigot.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/11/2018 07:56

There was a story a while back about a woman having sex with a dinosaur statue in Exmouth - the figure in the grainy photo looked suspiciously male - anyone know if it was a male?

LikeDust · 09/11/2018 08:05

I thought it was Matthew Wright.

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 09/11/2018 08:08

Matthew Wright had sex with a dinosaur statue in Exmouth?!

clutches pearls

(Joking. I know the two posts crossed but it was too funny.)

QuentinWinters · 09/11/2018 08:08

yet last time I asked about that the thread was deleted

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 09/11/2018 08:10

That's because transwomen are the most vulnerable, oppressed marginalised group in society who are delicate butterflies wanting nothing more than to pee safely.
