The message 'No T on our turf' Manchester Gay Village was doing the rounds last night.

One Tweeter was very aggressive saying he would throw 't' out of his club if he caught them. It's nasty.

After that the police tweet appears. This is inciting hatred.

How depressing, so now we know how much the police hate women.

If gender self ID happens the inevitable will hit the fan and the amount of sexual abuse against women will rise exponentially. We now know who not to call.

HandsOffMyRights · 07/10/2018 18:51

Sorry, I think this was their first Tweet. They took it down and then added the one above.

Police social media accounts shouldn't be allowed to post partisan misogynistic comments.

HandsOffMyRights · 07/10/2018 18:54

A member of the public challenged the first Tweet fully supporting the venues and was BLOCKED for asking a simple question (only unblocked when somebody raised this).

I might take some stickers to the gay village

FairTradeFairPlay · 07/10/2018 19:19

Send this to Michael Gove MP.

Gove is a MP and LGBT police went after his wife recently. I don't think this will encourage him to vote for self-ID.

Yambabe · 07/10/2018 19:27

I agree. There shouldn't be any hatred or intolerance towards ANY community. Surely that's a bit of a stating the obvious thing to say? I'm really not sure what their point is here.

I'm for women's rights, not anti-trans.

Yesterday we shared a post from the village re trans graffiti, the post was not intended to cause any offence and in no way was it meant to show we endorse violence against anyone, if it was perceived as so we apologise, we are against all forms of hate #WeStandTogether

I can imagine every single area that side of Piccadilly station is going to be plastered in stickers in a few days Grin

OVAgroundWOMBlingfree · 07/10/2018 19:30

I saw some in the NQ last week SmileWine

That's their latest tweet half hr ago.

Bowlofbabelfish · 07/10/2018 19:33

if it was perceived as so we apologise,

This isn’t an apology. It’s a ‘I’m sorry if you felt...’ statement which is putting blame back on the complainant

AnotherBewilderedQuoll · 07/10/2018 19:34

GAMP Pride Network.

FairTradeFairPlay · 07/10/2018 19:35

WY, Liverpool and Manchester police officially hate women.

misscockerspaniel · 07/10/2018 19:35

What a disgusting tweet. You read in the media about some police officers behaviour to minority groups and pass on to the next story. Until it affects you and suddenly, you get why not everyone trusts the police to do the right thing. I now get it. And as a white woman, I am not part of a minority group.

FairTradeFairPlay · 07/10/2018 19:35
HandsOffMyRights · 07/10/2018 19:36

Yes, I don't see that apology as good enough. Combined with WYP this paints an alarming picture for women.

OP posts:
DayMay · 07/10/2018 19:38

Thought police.

TRAns are Government funded.

No MPs speaking out .

Totalitarian state.

InfiniteSheldon · 07/10/2018 19:46

Shockingly depressing, police on horseback called to disperse three women leafletting, a police force tweeting hate speak and encouraging violence and doxing

InfiniteSheldon · 07/10/2018 19:49

Oh I forgot judges punishing women for NOT lying in court
