At the top of this evening's PM programme they've trailed 'live debate' about the Stonewall petition.

Her response was very predictable, they refuse to acknowledge any concerns so it's case closed as far as stonewall is concerned.

I'm annoyed at how much of a difference I feel it will make that it's Jonny.

Can't be dismissed as a shrill, bitter feminist etc - shouldn't make a difference that it's a man, but it does.

I hope this goes well for him. I have listened to so much where it is just a set up and all they ever end up discussing is that trans people are really nice vulnerable people and everyone else is a bigot - and totally forget there is a bit change in the law coming that is nothing to do with that.

Carolyn Quinn was quite good on this topic when she interviewed people on the women's prison rapist fiasco.
